Lili Reinhart can now add poet and author to her resume!
The 23-year-old Riverdale actress just revealed that she’s coming out with a poetry book on her Instagram.
“One year ago, I decided I wanted to share my poetry with the world. It’s scary to reveal a part of myself that I don’t often show, but I like to consider this book as more of a story rather than a confession of thought,” Lili wrote, along with a sneak peek of the cover.
She continues, “Strangers, songs, films, fictional characters, love in various forms, and of course my own experiences were my inspiration throughout the creation of ‘Swimming Lessons’.”
“This book means a lot to me and I’m very grateful to be in the position to finally share it 🌷 pre-order link is in my bio if you’re so inclined.”

Chris Colfer‘s brand new book, “A Tale of Magic”, is out today and you all should be running to the store to get it!
The new series is set in the same universe as “The Land of Stories”, but it’s a prequel!
It centers on Brystal Evergreen, who has always known she was destined for great things—that is, if she can survive the oppressive Southern Kingdom. Her only escape are books, but since it’s illegal for women to read in her country, she has to find creative ways of acquiring them.
Working as a maid at her local library gives her the perfect excuse to be near them and allows her to sneak a few titles home when no one is looking. But one day, Brystal uncovers a secret section of the library and finds a book about magic that changes her life forever.
“It was supposed to be a very easy task for me,” Chris joked while speaking on NBC Boston this week. “With the way the world is right now, I had to write something that would encourage young people out there.”
He adds, “My demographic is 90% young girls and they have supporting me from the very, very beginning, so if I can give them an ounce of the courage they’ve given me, I can die a happy author.”
“A Tale of Magic” is out NOW!
There’s another Hunger Games book coming!
Via Deadline, Scholastic has announced that a prequel novel from author Suzanne Collins is on its’ way and set to debut in 2020.
The novel is said to be set in the world of Panem, 64 years before the events of the original “Hunger Games” trilogy on the morning of the reaping of the 10th Hunger Games.
As fans of the novel know, the eventual winner of the games was Griffin Naysmith from District 2.
Suzanne shared about returning with a new book, “I wanted to explore the state of nature, who we are, and what we perceive is required for our survival. The reconstruction period ten years after the war, commonly referred to as the Dark Days—as the country of Panem struggles back to its feet—provides fertile ground for characters to grapple with these questions and thereby define their views of humanity.â€
It also seems there will be a movie tied to the book, as well.
Joe Drake, Chairman of the Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, shared that “we’ve been communicating with her during the writing process and we look forward to continuing to work closely with her on the movie.”
