It’s finally official and we couldn’t be more excited… Stranger Things is definitely returning for season four!
It was inevitable that the series, arguably the most popular Netflix original, was going to be renewed, but we’re so happy it’s official now. In a cool announcement video, the season’s tagline is revealed: “We’re Not in Hawkins Anymore.” It sounds like the fourth season is going to take us somewhere new!
Netflix has also announced that Stranger Things creators The Duffer Brothers have signed an overall deal with the streaming service.
“The Duffer Brothers have captivated viewers around the world with Stranger Things and we’re thrilled to expand our relationship with them to bring their vivid imaginations to other film and series projects our members will love,†Netflix’s Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos said in a statement. “We can’t wait to see what The Duffer Brothers have in store when they step outside the world of The Upside Down.â€
The Duffer Brothers added, “We are absolutely thrilled to continue our relationship with Netflix. Ted Sarandos, Cindy Holland, Brian Wright, and Matt Thunell took a huge chance on us and our show — and forever changed our lives. From our first pitch meeting to the release of Stranger Things 3, the entire team at Netflix has been nothing short of sensational, providing us with the kind of support, guidance, and creative freedom we always dreamed about. We can’t wait to tell many more stories together — beginning, of course, with a return trip to Hawkins!”

Stranger Things‘ third season is now streaming on Netflix and fans in Paris were treated to something special – some of the stars showed up for a premiere screening!
The 27-year-old actor said this season was one of extremes.
“I think it’s a season of extremes. There’s like, the most funny stuff that happens and then also definitely the most scary,” he told Access.
When asked to use one word describe it, Joe added, “I think everything surrounding the supernatural… it’s gross. ‘Gross’ I think is the right word.”
Joe also dished that he got kicked out of a group chat in season two because he was too old.
“I think there was a group chat in Season 2. I’m not in any big group chat now but I think Noah was like [imitates excessive typing],” he said. “I’m not in any big group chat now. I’m too old for that. We got booted.”
