Joey King is celebrating her big 21st birthday!

The actress just turned hit the milestone birthday TODAY (July 30) and her friends and co-stars are sending her b-day wishes.

Joey’s The Kissing Booth 2 co-stars Taylor Zakhar Perez, Joel Courtney, Meganne Young, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Judd Krok have all shared posts for her.

“Happy Friggen Birthday @joeyking Honestly I could write about this woman all day. She is the reason I joined the KB2 family, she welcomed me with open arms and love, she supported me, she pushed me, she made me laugh (like pee my pants laughter and had to check my underwear), she inspired me to be a bettter actor, she shared her family with me, THE LIST GOES ON. Grateful for you forever. #tbt,” Taylor wrote. Aww!

“Happy birthday to this thumb 😂😂😂 honestly way too many memories to pick a favorite. But this was our last night in South Africa and one of the longest nights which I’m really thankful for. I didn’t want this day to end. Aaaaaanyway happy birthday @joeyking. May you always find your worst angles,” Joel added, along with a hilarious video.

Joel Courtney shared a fun video with fans about his Ghostbusters costume in The Kissing Booth 2!

The 24-year-old actor showed how he got his hair ready for those scenes.

“One can of hairspray later I’m ready for Halloween 🎃 👻 💀 🧟‍♂️ miss you @themakeupboz. Also the dance for Halloween took so long for us to get down. Did y’all like it? #thekissingbooth,” he captioned the time lapse video on Instagram.

One fan commented that they thought it was a wig, and he confirmed it wasn’t. “nope. All my hair 😂,” Joel replied.

If you didn’t know, Joel‘s co-star Joey King actually wore a wig all throughout the movie because she didn’t have any hair after coming off filming on Hulu’s The Act!

The Kissing Booth 3 was just announced and we already have a first look at the new movie!

Earlier today (July 26), Joey King and the cast of The Kissing Booth 2 announced the exciting news that a third movie was coming.

“The Kissing Booth 3 is OFFICIAL! 🎉😍💋,” the film series’ Instagram account wrote with an announcement video.

The announcement came during the last day of the TKB2 Fan Fest live stream.

The third installment of The Kissing Booth franchise will see the return of the original stars Joey, Joel Courtney, Jacob Elordi and Meganne Young, as well as newcomers for the second, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Taylor Zakhar Perez!

Along with the announcement, we also got a first look at TKB3, which picks up where the last one ended, the summer right after graduation.

In the clip, we see Elle, Noah, Lee and Rachel out at the pool when Elle gets a call from the Harvard admissions office. If you missed it, find out why Harvard is calling Elle!

It’s finally official – a third movie in The Kissing Booth franchise is on the way and Joey King confirmed that it has ALREADY BEEN FILMED!

The 20-year-old actress was joined by her co-stars Joel Courtney, Taylor Zakhar Perez, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, and Meganne Young to announce the exciting news during a Fan Fest live stream on YouTube.

The latest movie in the franchise ends on a huge cliffhanger and fans are so excited to find out what happens in the next movie.

“I want to thank the fans for their tremendous support… the explosion of love has been so real. It’s because of everyone on here that all of this has happened,” Joey said while announcing the news on the live stream.

The Kissing Booth 3 will be released in 2021 and the movie was filmed back-to-back with the sequel last summer. The cast said that on some days they would shoot scenes for both of the films!

The Kissing Booth 2 has been out for just one day and it’s of course already a big hit!

At the time of this post, the sequel is the number one title in the US on Netflix, AND The Kissing Booth is even the number nine movie in the US.

If you’ve seen the movie, you already know that the surprising ending was kind of left on a bit of a cliffhanger, leaving open the possibility of another movie.

Netflix has yet to announce if a third movie is happening, but fans are yearning for more, and so are we!!

Stars of the movie, Joey King, Joel Courtney, Jacob Elordi and newbies Taylor Zakhar Perez and Maisie Richardson-Sellers, are all dishing on the possibility of a third film, but not all of them are exactly on board…

“Well, me and the cast have been talking and we want that so bad and we’re kind of relying on the fans to help us out,” Joey previously said. “They loved the first one so much and they’re the reason that we got a sequel. So if they love this one and they make it known to the world and to Netflix, our fingers are crossed that Netflix will give us a third movie because that’s what we want really badly.”

“So many of these things end with cliffhangers, you kind of leave it up for interpretation,” Jacob told ET about TKB2 being the end. “Myself personally, I don’t know what I’m doing after this phone call, so [I'm] not sure how to answer that… I have no idea.”

Joel Courtney admits he was nervous to go back for The Kissing Booth 2!

The 24-year-old actors stars as Lee in the movies and he recently opened up about stepping back into the role.

“I’ve never been in the position where I’ve gotten to pick a role back up. I’ve never done like, a Season 1 of a TV show and then gone back for Season 2,” he told Elite Daily. “I remember actually being a little nervous to fail because there’s so many fans that love this character and this friendship.”

Joel then added that getting back to work with Joey King was just so easy and natural.

“Day 1 on the set with Joey for The Kissing Booth 2 [was] like, ‘Oh yeah, we’re back,’” he said. “It was like putting on your favorite jacket. It just like, slips right on and you know how to wear it.”

The trailer for The Kissing Booth 2 is finally here – and we cannot wait to see this movie.
