JoJo Siwa just gave fans the first look at her with her girlfriend!
The 17-year-old entertainer revealed she had a girlfriend last week on The Tonight Show, and now we know her name is Kylie, and they’ve been together for a month.
“After being my best friend for over a year, January 8th 2021 I got to start calling this exceptional human my Girlfriend… and Since then I’ve been the happiest I have ever been!” JoJo sweetly wrote on Instagram.
“She seriously is the most loving, supportive, happiest, protective, and just the most beautiful perfect person in the world. And I get to call her mine! Happy one month to my girl! I love you more and more everyday!â¤ï¸” she added.
JoJo Siwa is opening up about her coming out process to the public!
The 17-year-old came out a couple weeks ago through a series of TikTok videos and she had some encouragement.
“I was doing TikToks with the people who are in the Pride House… and I was like, ‘I think this TikTok that we’re doing to ‘Ain’t It Fun’ is going to out me,’†she shared. “I was like, I don’t really mind because it is true. I do have the most amazing, wonderful, perfect, most beautiful girlfriend in the whole world. It’s not something I’m ashamed of, I just haven’t shown the internet yet. There’s always been speculations of course, but I was like I think this is going to out me.”
She then opened up about how her girlfriend helped encourage her to post the photo of her wearing the “Best Gay Cousin Ever” t-shirt.
“The day after I posted the ‘Born This Way’ TikTok, I was on FaceTime with her and we were just talking about it, and talking about all of the love that came in and technically I still hadn’t confirmed it,†JoJo said. “And I was like, I kind of want to just post this picture on my real story. She was super encouraging like, ‘Do it!’ I was like, ‘Alright, and I did it.’â€
JoJo shared that her coming out was actually a huge risk, given her platform. There has even been some backlash from parents and others, but she has received more than an outpouring of love and support.
“I was like, ‘Technically it was a really big risk posting that… but if I lost everything that I’ve created because of being myself and because of loving who I want to love I don’t want it, that’s not what if I can’t love who I want to love, that’s one of the most important things to me,” she said.
“About 10 minutes before I came out to do this interview today, I was again on the phone with my girl and I started crying,†JoJo shared. “She’s like, ‘What’s wrong with you?’ I’m like, ‘I’m just so happy because now I get to share what makes me the happiest with the world, and it makes my heart so happy.’â€
JoJo didn’t reveal who her girlfriend is, which is understandable, but did reveal that they are long-distance and are on the phone “literally 24/7. Both of our families get so annoyed at us.”

JoJo Siwa is starring in and executive producing a brand new musical called The J Team!
The 17-year-old entertainer announced the exciting news during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night (February 3).
The new, original musical follows a young girl named JoJo (Siwa) whose life is turned upside down when her beloved dance coach Val (Soltis) decides to retire and is replaced by a sparkle-hating instructor named Poppy (Campbell-Martin).
Wanting to stay in the running for an upcoming dance competition, JoJo and her best friends, The Rubies (Jones, Romero), must try their hardest to abide by Poppy’s new, harsh rules. Realizing she cannot hide her sparkle or bow anymore JoJo is kicked out of her dance troupe and must rediscover what dancing means to her.
The J Team will feature six new songs from JoJo and more. She even shared a little video earlier in the week from inside the recording studio. Check it out below!

JoJo Siwa heads out from the airport on Sunday (January 24) after arriving in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The 17-year-old arrived in town with her mom Jessalynn, both of them dressed in all black outfits, aside from their shoes.
JoJo took to her Instagram story after they got to their hotel room and dished that they will be quarantining in the room for the next couple weeks.
The entertainer and her mom are in town as she is about to start filming an upcoming project.

The 17-year-old star did an Instagram Live chat with fans on Saturday (January 23) to talk about joining the LGBTQ+ community, how long she’s known, how her parents reacted, labels on her sexuality, and more.
“Personally I have never, ever, ever been this happy before and it feels really awesome. I’ve been happy for a little bit now. It’s just so, so, so awesome. You guys probably haven’t seen me this happy since I was on tour,” JoJo told her fans.
JoJo Siwa has just been dropping hints that she’s LGBTQ+, but her latest pic essentially confirms she’s gay.
The 17-year-old has not made any public statements on the matter, but she posted a photo of herself wearing a t-shirt which says, “Best. Gay. Cousin. Ever.”
JoJo also thanked her cousin on Instagram for sending it, “Thanks for the shirt cousin.”
Earlier in the week, fans noticed that she seemingly came out when she posted a new video on TikTok where she sang along to a line from Lady Gaga‘s “Born This Way.”
Dancer Kent Boyd also posted a video, which seemed to confirm it as well.
The entertainer has been getting A LOT of love on social media from fans for coming out.
“jojo siwa coming out when her audience is primarily younger is so brave and going to have a overwhelmingly positive impact on lgbtq+ kids,” one person wrote on Twitter.
JoJo also just uploaded a brand new YouTube video where she goes through a transformation and debuts a “normal” teenager look, sans glitter and flashy bows/outfits.

On Wednesday (January 20), the 17-year-old shared a video where she lip-syncs to Lady Gaga‘s “Born This Way.”
Fans are pointing out that JoJo was wearing rainbow themed attire, with rainbow lights in the background, and she only emphasized the lip-sync on the line, “No matter gay, straight, or bi, lesbian, transgender life, I’m on the right track baby, I was born to survive.”
Many are leading to believe that this was JoJo‘s way of coming out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. She has not spoken out confirming the fan speculation yet, though she did like a tweet of a Teen Vogue article titled, “Fans Think JoJo Siwa Came Out as Queer.”
She also retweeted a tweet from Anastasia Golovashkina, which showed the video, and said, “@itsjojosiwa is on the right track, she was born this way,” along with the rainbow flag and two hearts emojis.
According to fans, James Charles commented on her TikTok post, “I’M SO HAPPY FOR YOU,” and JoJo‘s brother Jayden also commented, “So happy for you JoJo!! Love you!â€
Also that day, dancer and Teen Beach Movie actor Kent Boyd shared a video, which featured himself, JoJo, Garrett Clayton, Mollee Gray and Jeka Jane. The video featured them all dancing to Paramore‘s “Ain’t It Fun,” and he captioned the clip, “Now your one of us!! @itsjojosiwa @molleegray @garrettclayton91 @jekajane #pridehousela”
The following day, JoJo uploaded a new selfie wearing a Gucci jacket on Instagram and wrote, “You make me HAPPPPPPPYYYYYYY!!!”
