Joseph Morgan Says This Is Who His 'The Originals' Character Klaus Would Vote For

Joseph Morgan is dishing on his The Originals character Klaus.

A fan tweeted the 39-year-old Brave New World actor asking who Klaus would vote for in the 2020 Presidential Election.

Biden obviously. Klaus couldn’t stand bullies,” he replied.

Another fan agreed, saying, “klaus may have been a murderer and a psychopath but he was NEVER a racist and we stand by that.”

Joseph has been very vocal about urging people to vote, and his support for Joe Biden.

“I’m from the U.K. but I have lived, worked and paid taxes in the US for over a decade. This is a beautiful, proud country that has been decimated by a tyrant. It’s time for love to win over hate. Democracy over Fascism. #BidenHarris2020 The world is watching. You can do it!” he tweeted out earlier in the day.

In case you missed it, see what Joseph recently said about if Klaus would ever appear on Legacies!

Joseph Morgan Says Klaus Mikaelson Will Never Appear on 'Legacies'

You can count Joseph Morgan out for a guest spot on Legacies.

The 39-year-old actor, who played Klaus Mikaelson (Hope’s dad), recently opened up about the possibility of him ever going back to Mystic Falls.

“No never, never. You’re never going to see it,” he told TV Line. “You can hold your breath as long as you want. You know why? I have The Originals box set on my shelf, and it’s a beautiful thing because it’s five DVD sets that are a complete story from beginning to end of this guy, Klaus Mikaelson — well, starting back in The Vampire Diaries Season 2.”

“So I just feel like to come back as a ghost or a flashback or something, for me, that journey, that story has ended,” he added. “That’s the complete story, and it just doesn’t feel right to me to do that.”

“I think Julie [Plec] feels the same. It just feels like it would be strange, like a little forced,” Joseph continued. “Like I’m coming back just so we can see something else of him, but when we see it we go, ‘Ugh, that was it?’ And I don’t want his legacy to be, ‘Ugh.’ I don’t know what the scene could be that it would be exciting enough and epic enough after the journey that he’s had.”

If you remember, Joseph‘s Klaus actually died in the series finale of The Originals.

In case you missed it, this actor got promoted to series regular for the upcoming third season of Legacies!

Ian Somerhalder & Paul Wesley Were 'Bitter' About 'The Originals'

Turns out that Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley weren’t that happy about The Vampire Diaries getting a spinoff in The Originals.

Ian, who played Damon on the long running series, got candid about how he felt about the show during the Wizard World Philadelphia 2019 convention (via CinemaBlend).

When he was asked to name his favorite “K” villain from The Vampire Diaries: Katherine, Klaus, or Kai, Ian admitted that Klaus was the one who ticked him off.

Why though?

“They were all amazing on their own. Klaus really ticked me off ’cause he left and went and got his own show. Rude,” Ian shared. “Oh my gosh, we — by ‘we’ I mean Paul and I — were so bitter with The Originals because we lost all of these amazing actors. Like, those were our peeps, dog. Plus, they had all those great accents.”

He added, “Klaus was an amazing — Joseph Morgan is an insanely beautiful actor.”

Legacies is the latest TVD spinoff, and will be returning for a second season this fall on The CW.
