The 27-year-old actor recently opened up about how Johnny would improvise during scenes all the time while playing Jack Sparrow.
“You never knew what direction (he) was going to take a scene,” Brenton told USA Today. “Every take, he would say something completely different and somehow manage to stay on track with the story.”

Brenton Thwaites is opening up more about his role in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.
The 27-year-old actor plays Henry, son of Orlando Bloom‘s Will Turner, which he was excited about.
“I was dying to hear what our dynamic was on the first three movies – we only really had one day together where we could work together and show the audience what our characters feel toward one another,” Brenton told WWD. “The scene didn’t really call for it – it was a climactic scene, a scene of coming together and revelation. We thought it was more about a son coming together with his father, and leaving it at that.”

The fifth film of the franchise follows down-on-his-luck Captain Jack (Johnny Depp), who is feeling the winds of ill-fortune blowing strongly his way when deadly ghost sailors, led by the terrifying Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem), escape from the Devil’s Triangle bent on killing every pirate at sea—notably Jack.

At the helm of the Dying Gull, his pitifully small and shabby ship, Captain Jack seeks not only to reverse his recent spate of ill fortune, but to save his very life from the most formidable and malicious foe he has ever faced.
