Some cast members from The Vampire Diaries reunited while celebrating New Year’s Eve in Vegas this week!
Nina Dobrev, Candice King, and Kayla Ewell spent the night together while attending the grand opening of the Bellagio’s new supper club The Mayfair on Tuesday (December 31) in Las Vegas.
The ladies were joined by singer Leona Lewis, as well as Candice‘s husband Joe King, Kayla‘s husband Tanner Novlan, and Leona‘s husband Dennis Jauch.
Kayla posted the below photo on her Instagram account and Nina commented, “Photo cred.”
Did you know that Candice King and Kayla Ewell have a podcast together called Directionally Challenged? Of course you did!
The former Vampire Diaries co-stars and real life BFFs recently passed the one year anniversary mark of their podcast and dished on how they started the endeavor.
“It was a friend’s bridal shower at my house. And we’d both been talking about all the podcasts that we were listening to,” Candice told TV Guide. “We were still acting, but we were just kind of feeling the audition crunch of it all. And we wanted to do something a little bit different and get out of our comfort zone. And with a little liquid courage, we were like, ‘What if we did a podcast?’”
“Well, here’s the thing. We felt kind of lost in life and we felt like we weren’t exactly where we thought we’d be when we were in our 30s,” Kayla added. “And we realized, ‘Hey, if we feel this way, I guarantee there are so many other people that do as well. So, why don’t we start a podcast about it?’”
Candice and Kayla have had a bunch of amazing guests on their show, including fellow TVD alums Nina Dobrev and Michael Trevino, EP Julie Plec, Jenna Ushkowitz, Legacies‘ Jenny Boyd and more!

Candice King and Kayla Ewell are all smiles while stepping out for lululemon’s RCVR Fitness and Wellness Event at Platform LA on Monday (March 25) in Culver City, Calif.
The former Vampire Diaries stars and BFFs were joined by Light as a Feather‘s Ajiona Alexus for the installation in celebration of the LA Marathon.
The three actresses were seen enjoying Cryo Cafe facials, Dosist consults, Hot Box Sauna Sessions, and also stopped by the lululemon pop up shop, and hydrated with CORE Water, munched on snacks by Harmless Harvest, and Brew Dr. Kombucha.
Later on that night, Ajiona, Candice and Kayla all enjoyed an afternoon rooftop meal at Margot.

Nina Dobrev had a mini Vampire Diaries reunion while meeting up with some of her former co-stars at a celebration event for her harper by Harper’s Bazaar cover on Tuesday (August 22) at Rosaline in West Hollywood, Calif.
The 28-year-old actress met up with Kat Graham, Kayla Ewell, and Claire Holt, as well as The Originals‘ Danielle Campbell!
Other friends at the event were Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich, Derek Hough, Victoria Justice, and 13 Reasons Why‘s Tommy Dorfman.
FYI: Nina is wearing a Ralph Lauren dress, Malone Souliers shoes, and an Edie Parker clutch. Kat is wearing a The Attico dress. Julianne is wearing a Jenny Packham dress, Stuart Weitzman shoes, and a Sarah Beydoun bag. The event was presented by Sephora.

Phoebe Tonkin might be on The Originals now, but she first brought Hayley Marshall to life on The Vampire Diaries.
The actress is paying tribute to the series, which concludes with an epic finale tonight, on social media.
“I cannot believe tonight is the last episode of #thevampirediares ever,” Phoebe wrote.
“You guys have been my family for the last 5 years, Julie and Kevin, thank you for inviting me onto the show in season 4, I owe so much to you guys and this incredible opportunity you gave me, my life would most definitely not be the same without it, and I am eternally gratefully.”
She added, “I love you all to pieces, congrats on such an EPIC 8 seasons.”

It’s official – The Vampire Diaries has wrapped filming after eight years.
The cast reunited for a big wrap party over the weekend and it looks like they had a blast!
Stars Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, Candice King, Kat Graham, Steven R. McQueen, Matt Davis, Zach Roerig, Michael Trevino, Sara Canning, Kayla Ewell, Michael Malarkey, and more were in attendance.
“8 years ago I walked into a room and left with some of the greatest friends of my life. #tvdforever,” Kayla captioned a cute pic with the girls.
Nina gifted the cast with key necklaces with “TVD Forever” engraved on them. So sweet!

It looks like Kayla Ewell is returning for the final season of The Vampire Diaries!
The 31-year-old actress was spotted on set in between scenes on Thursday (January 26) in Atlanta, Georgia.
