“I wrote it from a space of reflection on how I interact with the world energetically and this artwork truly encapsulates the feeling of distance spoken about in the song while asserting the closeness of my relationship to my loved ones…who hold me the f–k down always and forever in the midst of it all,” she wrote on Instagram.
“I need more than 50 feet / If your mind, body and soul ain’t aligned / I don’t need you messin’ with mine,” she sings on the track.
Lauren Jauregui is keeping us dancing during these hard times.
The 23-year-old Fifth Harmony member teamed up with Tainy to drop her new Spanglish single “Lento,” which translates to “Slowly.”
“I had planned to give you this first taste of what’s coming for some time,” Lauren said in a statement.
She continued, “There was truly no way any of us could have prepared for what is happening right now, so I hope you receive ‘Lento’ with as much grace and love as is intended. I hope dancing to it helps your spirit feel joy, as you spend time with your loved ones and continue to cultivate love in the face of fear and uncertainty.”
The official music video for “Lento” was also released, shot in Florida and directed by Dawit N.M.

Lauren Jauregui is showing off her vocals in Tainy‘s new song “Nada“!
The 23-year-old singer joins C. Tangana to sing the duet from the Puerto Rican producer.
“Nada” marks the first time that Lauren has released a song where she sings in Spanish. She also sings some in English as well.
“So excited for #Nada coming out tonight and am just listening to this music I’m about to give you this year and I truly cannot wait to share this with you. Whew,” Lauren tweeted right before the song came out.

Lauren Jauregui and Dinah Jane walk the carpet while attending Instagram’s Grammy Luncheon on Friday afternoon (January 24) at Ysabel in West Hollywood, Calif.
The event celebrated women in music and many rising female stars stepped out to attend the event.
The Grammys are this weekend and so many stars joined Spotify in honoring the Best New Artist nominees at an event on Thursday night (January 23) at The Lot Studios in Los Angeles.

The next morning, Dinah took to her Instagram to reveal that she will be going out on a world tour this spring!

Lauren Jauregui is feeling extra thankful for all her fans over the weekend.
In a series of tweets, the 23-year-old singer opened up about her grateful she is for her fanbase.
“I wanna take a moment to say a deep and full THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to each of you who have stuck by me, loved me, nurtured me, understood me, and have been RIDING with me for all these years. For the ones who have been here, I see you & love you more than you know,” she wrote.
Lauren added, “For all the new babies I thank you for joining us and for everyone coming A BIG BIG THANK YOU for believing in me💕✨.”
If you didn’t know, Lauren has a brand new song on the Birds of Prey album called “Invisible Chains”.
“So honored/excited to be a part of this!! First movie soundtrack and I couldn’t be more emotional about being part of this one in particular. Out on February 7th!!” she alerted fans.
