Logan Henderson Isn't Trying to Shatter Chart Records Just Yet

Logan Henderson Isn't Trying to Shatter Chart Records Just Yet

Out of all the Big Time Rush guys, Logan Henderson is the one taking more time to just relax than the others — and it’s on purpose.

After wrapping the Nickelodeon series and the band in 2013, Logan revealed to NKD magazine that he just “spent time kind of figuring out myself.”

“[I was] kind of figuring out my sound, figuring out what kind of music I wanted to make, who I wanted to be and that’s kind of what I’ve been doing between the time that I’ve been out from the last show.”

Since then, Logan‘s put out just a few singles, and while they were really, really good, weren’t super hits — another thing on purpose.

“I’m not trying to make it big, I’m just trying to make the music break – to focus on the music,” he says. “That’s all I wanted to do.”

Logan adds, “I don’t care about what I came from before. I don’t owe anybody anything, I really don’t. I don’t owe anybody anything, except for just myself – and that’s what I was working so hard to get to. It took a while, of course. That’s why I wasn’t doing stuff for a very long time.”

“It gets you down as well. It took me a while, too. I traveled down a few dark streets before I decided that this was how things were going to be and music is constantly evolving. It still is and it’s ever-changing and that’s how I am as well.”

Hopefully, we’ll hear a lot more from Logan in 2018.

Logan Henderson Reveals He Doesn't Have a Plan For Releasing New Music

Logan Henderson Reveals He Doesn't Have a Plan For Releasing New Music

Many artists have a set plan on just when they’re going to release new music, but not Logan Henderson.

The “Sleepwalker” singer revealed to IBT recently that he’s really just playing it all by ear.

“There’s no rhyme or reason at the moment,” he shared. “We just want to put out good work, and it kind of comes at its own time. But there’s a lot of music that I haven’t released, so we’re going to do that and see how it goes.”

Logan also opened up about the inspirations behind his solo music: “Relationships have been a big part of it. Traveling has been a big part and talking with people. Making connections and kind of just discovering more about myself.”
