The Thundermans actress took to Instagram on Saturday (June 8) to share her sentiments with her Shadowhunters co-star as he turned 29 years old.
“Happy birthday to my brother dearest and partner in crime – a truly incredible human @lukebaines,” she captioned the slideshow.
“From weddings, to festivals, to karaoke nights in – you never cease to make me smile,” she added. “You wear your heart on your sleeve and give so much of yourself to those you love. All my love! #plusoneforlife.”
Love it! In April, Luke Baines confirmed that he and Katherine McNamarastill aren’t dating.
There’s just one day left until the series finale of Shadowhunters and fans have debuted a special billboard for the occasion.
Taking over the corner of 49th and 7th avenues in NYC’s iconic Times Square, the three fold billboard features Clary and Jace in silhouetted images, designed by fan and artist David, aka IconicNephilim.
“By the angel, THIS. FANDOM. â™¥ï¸ My heart is so full,” Katherine McNamara reacted to the fan-funded billboard on Twitter this weekend. “The #Shadowfam does it again. Thank you, magical angels! #ShadowhuntersLegacy.”
Luke Bainesadded, “I will never get tired of saying: THIS FANDOM IS INCREDIBLE. You’ve proved how much this show matters. I hope you’re all so proud of what you’ve accomplished.”

Katherine and Luke have been sharing pics and videos on both their Instagrams all weekend long from the 2019 Coachella Music Festival.
In Luke‘s latest, he confirmed, again, that he and Kat are still not dating.
“(Still not dating, don’t @ me),” he captioned the slideshow of pics.
Katherine added as a reply, “+1s for LIFE babe! ♥ï¸â™¥ï¸.”
The 28-year-old actor opened up in new issue of Grumpy magazine about the number one reason he joined the series and how fans will come to understand what Jonathan does what he does.
“It was always a dream to work on a show like this to be honest. I think that a lot of people have a very specific idea of who Jonathan is, because of the things that he does, and how he presents himself. But there is so much more there,” Luke says. “I was so interested to be able to unpick that, and look at what makes someone do the things that he does.”
Luke continues that over the final episodes, “people are gonna be able to understand Jonathan a lot more. You may not like him still, you may hate him which is understandable because of the things that he has done and the things he does do.”
“I do think that at the end of the series, you’ll be able to understand him more, and if people can do that, then I’ll be really happy, I’ll be pleased with the work I did.”
