Camila Cabello's 'Cinderella' Movie To Premiere On Amazon's Prime Video!

Camila Cabello is heading to Prime Video!!

It was just announced that the 24-year-old singer’s upcoming movie Cinderella has been acquired by Amazon Studios, Deadline reveals.

This is Camila‘s feature film debut, where she was also integral in the music aspect of the movie. Cinderella will feature pop songs from contemporary artists as well as original music from Camila.

Earlier this year, it was announced that the movie will be coming to theaters on July 16th, but with it moving to Prime, it’s uncertain if that date will remain the same. Stay tuned for more details!

Cinderella also features quite an all-star cast – Idina Menzel, Billy Porter, Pierce Brosnan, Maddie Baillio and Nicholas Galitzine.

Kay Cannon wrote and directed the movie, which wrapped filming in October 2020.

Camila Cabello's Upcoming 'Cinderella' Movie Gets Pushed Back a Few Months

Sad news for Camila Cabello fans – we’re going to have to wait a little bit longer for her Cinderella movie!

The 23-year-old singer is set to star as the iconic princess in a new, music driven film.

Cinderella was originally slated to be released on February 5th, but after the pandemic delayed production, and theaters are still not open, Sony has moved the date.

“Your invitation awaits. ✨ #CinderellaMovie comes to theaters July 2021. 👑,” the movie’s official Instagram wrote.

The new release date is set for July 16th. Sony also moved the dates for Ghostbusters: Afterlife, from June 11th to November 11th, and Tom Holland‘s Uncharted, from July 16th to February 11, 2022.

Camila Cabello is gushing over one of her Cinderella co-stars!

The 23-year-old singer-turned-actress reposted Maddie Baillio‘s Instagram story and shared her own note.

“@maddiebaillio love you and Charlotte so much! can’t wait for people to see you shine in this film! #Cinderella babyyyyy” Camila wrote.

Maddie‘s original post said, “You’re not crying I’m crying. That’s a wrap. I already miss everyone. We went thru so much this year. Let’s do a sequel.”

The day before, the film’s director Kay Cannon shared a photo with Camila and Idina Menzel, who plays the stepmother, and dished there’s no villains in this version.

'Hairspray Live' Is Now Available to Watch Free For 48 Hours!

The NBC live musical is available for free on the The Shows Must Go On! YouTube page.

Andrew Lloyd Webber has been making many shows available to watch for a weekend at a time on the channel, and earlier in May, he went online and provided a live commentary during the Cats stream.

Hairspray Live aired on NBC on December 7, 2016. It brought in 9.05 million viewers, with a ratings share of 2.3 in the 18–49 demographic, and a 5.9 overnight household rating.

The live musical starred Ariana Grande, Dove Cameron, Garrett Clayton, Derek Hough, Kristin Chenoweth, Harvey Fierstein, Jennifer Hudson, Martin Short, Shahadi Wright Joseph, Ephraim Sykes, and Maddie Baillio, with Sean Hayes, Rosie O’Donnell and Billy Eichner.

The stream will be over at 2pm EDT on Sunday (May 31), and is unfortunately not available in LATAM, CEE and Asia due to rights restrictions.

The upcoming Cinderella movie, starring Camila Cabello, is rounding out it’s cast!

Maddie Baillio and Charlotte Spencer have just been announced as the latest additions to the cast as the evil stepsisters.

“Stick with me as I attempt to compose myself and a caption. I’m very pleased to announce I’ll have the honor of bringing *tricky stepsister, Malvolia, to life!! 🤯 Shoutout to my team of badass women (and John and Michael, equally amazing). Is it ok to call Idina Menzel mom? momma? mommy?” Maddie announced on Instagram.

Maddie and Charlotte join Idina Menzel, who will portray the evil stepmother. Billy Porter will play the Fairy Godmother.

It was recently announced that Pierce Brosnan joined the cast as The King, the father to Nicholas Galitzine‘s Prince Robert.

Luke Benward joins Maddie Baillio on the red carpet at the 2019 Saving Innocence Gala held at the Lowes Hollywood Hotel on Saturday night (March 2) in Hollywood.

The two Dumplin’ co-stars stepped out for the event, which raises funds for the organization that works to combat child sex-trafficking throughout the world.

Garrett Clayton & Maddie Baillio Have 'Hairspray Live' Reunion!

It’s been one year since Hairspray Live and now Link and Tracy are back together again!

Maddie Baillio made a trip to the theatre to see her love interest and co-star Garrett Clayton as he performed in a production of Sleeping Beauty.

“My love @maddiebaillio came to the show last night and I couldn’t be happier. #ForeverFriend,” Garrett captioned the photos of the two.

Maddie shared the pics on her account writing, “He’s one of those forever friends. So proud of my gare bear!”

Maddie also recently reflected on the Hairspray Live experience one year later.

“A year ago today, in this hour, Sean Hayes and I were sitting in a hair trailer with anticipation and nerves and excitement and adrenaline (pretty much just contemplating life and realizing that we were insane for what we were about to do). A few hours later, we made history. Cocktails followed. I’m in love with my Hairspray Live family and the story we told. ###GRATEFUL,” she wrote.
