Camila Mendes & Madelaine Petsch Take Their Dogs For a Walk In The Snow

Camila Mendes and Madelaine Petsch brave the snow storm while out for a walk on Saturday (February 13) in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The Riverdale co-stars took their dogs, Truffle and Olive, respectively, out for a quick walk.

Camila and Madelaine both dressed in head to toe black and were sure to bundle up in puffy jackets.

The girls recently got a glow up on their show as it featured the much-talked about seven year time jump! Camila‘s Veronica is now married.

“When we were conceiving of what’s the most surprising place we can find her, we thought, what if she is following in her parents’ footsteps and has entered a marriage with a guy who has some similarities to her father, who is such an important figure in her life?” showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa told The Wrap.

He also dished about Madelaine‘s character Cheryl’s evolution into the future.

“When Riverdale first premiered, Cheryl was living in that mansion, her brother had just died, and we called her a teen gothic heroine,” he told EW. “And we feel like, in the time jump, living like Mrs. Winchester in the Winchester house feels like a really organic progression for Cheryl.”

Madelaine recently opened up about some advice she got from the late Luke Perry during the early days of Riverdale.

Madelaine Petsch Shares Advice Luke Perry Gave Her About Dealing With Haters

Madelaine Petsch is opening up about all the hate she received when Riverdale first started.

The 26-year-old actress said that playing Cheryl Blossom brought a ton of online haters, but she didn’t feel like she had the right to complain or clap back.

In her new Cosmopolitan interview for her March cover, Madelaine shared some advice that she got from her late co-star Luke Perry.

“He was like, ‘You’re not a character we’re supposed to like, and that means you’re selling it so well that people think that must be who you are,’” she told the mag.

Madelaine also noted that he told her to get off of Twitter, but for her, that wasn’t enough.

“I called up my team and was like, ‘I love my job, but this is hard for me.’ And one of my team members was like, ‘Maybe you should make a YouTube channel and show them how dumb and weird you are?’” she said, and of course, that’s exactly what she did!

If you missed it, Luke made a surprise appearance in the final high school episode of Riverdale recently, that left fans shocked and in tears. Find out how they made it happen!

'Riverdale' Debuts New Cast Poster With New Series Regulars & First Photos Post Time Jump!

Riverdale just got a brand new poster!

We didn’t get much of new promotional material when season five started as the first few episodes were wrapping up the season four storyline.

Now, the new poster is out, and it features all of the stars – KJ Apa, Cole Sprouse, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Vanessa Morgan, Madelaine Petsch, Casey Cott and Charles Melton – but it also features a couple of new series regulars, Drew Ray Tanner, who we of course have grown to love on the show as Fangs Fogarty, as well as Erinn Westbrook, who has joined the show as new character, Tabitha Tate.

In addition, now that the graduation episode has aired, we are getting our first look at the cast seven years into the future!

Here’s a synopsis of the first time jump episode: After spending seven years away from Riverdale, Archie returns to find the town is now under Hiram Lodge’s grip and on the verge of becoming a ghost town. When Toni catches him up on what’s been going on, Archie reaches out to the rest of the gang to return home.

Not Everyone Made It To Riverdale's Graduation Episode, Showrunner Reveals

Tonight’s the night – the Riverdale gang is graduating!

The all new episode is the final one before the series jumps forward seven years. This ep was originally meant to be the season six finale.

Showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, who wrote the episode, revealed that not all of the characters made to the episode.

“Today’s a big day in #Riverdale. As excited/nervous as I was for my own high school graduation waaaay too many years ago. Somehow, this one means more. Not all of our characters survived to make it to graduation. Not all of the actors we wanted to come back were able to for various reasons (including Covid). But so grateful to everyone in this picture. And to many more who aren’t in the picture, but we’ll be seeing soon. Next stop: Seven years in the future…🚀🎢📸👀💥☠️,” he shared on Instagram, where he’s been sharing tidbits.

“All the secrets will come out; all the tears will flow,” Roberto shared the day before.

“The gang finally graduates, tonight. 🎓 a very sentimental, emotional episode for everyone who has been on this Riverdale journey with us since day 1,” Lili Reinhart shared on her social media.

“Everything changes tonight. @thecwriverdale,” KJ Apa added.

If you missed the good news, it was just announced that Riverdale has already been picked up for another season, along with many other CW shows!
