Madison Beer Releases Highly Anticipated Debut Album 'Life Support'

Madison Beer Releases Highly Anticipated Debut Album 'Life Support'

It’s here – Madison Beer‘s debut album Life Support is finally out!

The 21-year-old’s first full length album consists of 17 songs and has been a long time in the making.

“I’m so unbelievaby proud of the album. I’m proud for so many reasons man…” Madison shared on Instagram story earlier in the week. “For one, a 17 track album is not an easy sell to make in 2021. Making an album this big and especially making it with songs that aren’t all necessary ‘pop’ was ….. a fight. To say the least.”

“But I fought and I fought and continued to create the music I loved and believed in and it eventually won the battle,” she continued. “Nothing was more fulfilling than playing it thru from top to bottom for my label and being like… I’m confident that this is coming out just as it is. There was no arguing with it at that point.”

“I hope it just provides you with something whether that’s healing, a light, a song to dance to, cry to, feel sexy to, whatever it might be,” Madison said. “I hope you love it. I hope you sing n dance. I hope it reaches you.”

She also opened up about why she named it Life Support.

“To sum it up I basically was going thru an extremely tough and trying time in my life that felt like it was never going to end. It got to the point that I genuinely had no motivation to get out of bed & to be frank, even to be here anymore,” she wrote. “I still battle with depression & anxiety everyday but this album, and creating it, was seriously my light in a very dark tunnel.”

“Making this album gave me a reason. It was so therapeutic. It provided me with so much healing. So much clarity,” Madison continued. “After listening to it all the way through I thought, ‘I’m gonna call it life support.’ because truly, that’s what it was to me.”

Madison Beer looks a bit cold while standing outside her SUV at the park on Saturday (February 20) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 21-year-old singer was joined at the park by her beau, TikTok star Nick Austin, and another friend.

Madison looked to be just wearing her PJs and no shoes. She flashed a peace sign at the paparazzi at one point.

This is the first time we’ve seen the young couple out and about together in public since September of last year. They were first seen getting cozy back in August, sparking dating rumors.

Madison is getting ready to release her highly-anticipated debut album Life Support later this week. The new LP will feature 17 tracks, some previously released, and will be out on Friday (February 26).

While the singer has previously released EPs, this is her first full length album and has been years in the making!

Madison Beer Shares Her Thoughts On Cancel Culture

Madison Beer Shares Her Thoughts On Cancel Culture

Madison Beer is opening up on how she feels about cancel culture.

The 21-year-old “Selfish” singer shared what she thinks in a recent Instagram story Q&A.

“I think there’s a lot of layers to it. I think celebrities / influencers or anyone of the sort are for some reason deemed.. not as human as everyone else. Which is a pure societal error,” Madison wrote, via TooFab. “That’s layer one. Everyone is a human being. we are all growing and learning. Take it easy on each other and stop assuming your favorite celeb artist or influencer is prefect. I promise you’ll be less disappointed in people you don’t even know. You see what is chosen for you to see.”

“There is nothing progressive or helpful about basically saying, you made a mistake, or did something wrong, now here’s thousands of tweets telling you to kill yourself and thousands of people will now bully you and make fun of you for months if not years to come?” Madison added.

“Now with that being said there ARE things that make us reconsider who we give a platform to and things that are unforgivable, which 100% accountability and consequences are what should come of those things. Don’t get me wrong,” she continued. “But in most cases, usually no real productive conversation or resolutions or lessons are made from cancellation. It’s just counter productive to me.”

If you missed it, Madison recently revealed the full track listing for her upcoming debut album Life Support, which is out later this month!
