Madison De La Garza is opening up in a new interview about her older sister, Demi Lovato, and the progress she’s making during rehab.
Speaking with Millennial Hollywood with Dakota T. Jones, she shared that, “Demi’s doing…she’s doing really well. She’s working really hard on her sobriety and we’re all so incredibly proud of her…”
Madison continues that it’s been “crazy for our family. It’s been a lot, but we’ve been through a lot together and every single time, I mean if you read my mom’s book you would know.”
“Every time we go through something, we always come out on the other side a hundred times stronger than before. And so we’ve just been um we’ve been so thankful for everything. For the little things.â€
Madison also revealed about the things she wants to do with Demi once she leaves rehab – and it’s heartwarming.
“I guess I’m really excited to… I mean there’s so many little things. It sounds so small, but go to [frozen yogurt spot] Menchie’s… Honestly, I’m more of a Pinkberry person, but she likes Menchie’s and so we like we usually go there,” she said.

On Wednesday, Demi was seen getting some Christmas shopping done at Fred Segal in West Hollywood, Calif.
She sported an a beige cardigan, black skinnies, and black heels. Demi styled her hair in a low bun and completed her look with large hoop earrings.

The 25-year-old “Tell Me You Love Me” singer was right by Madison‘s side as she celebrated her sweet 16th with family and close friends.

Demi Lovato celebrated her 5 year anniversary of being sober in March, and she credits her recovery in a large part to her family’s repeated interventions.
“Everyone was like, ‘We are no longer going to leave, we are leaving,’” she told The Jonathan Ross Show. “That was the moment when I thought, ‘Okay, I really need to get help and get sober.’”
Demi was especially influenced by her love for her sister, Madison De La Garza.
“One of the main reasons of getting sober was so that I could be around my little sister,” she continued, “because my mom and dad [said I couldn't be around her] if I was doing stuff.”
It worked, too: “‘I got the help I needed and now I co-own a treatment center.’”

Still, one video that has surfaced online today is pure 14-karat gold, and now 15-year-old Madison cannot disagree.

“I hate that this is on the internet but 8 year old me was low key iconic,” Madison tweeted in response to the video.
It really and truly is.

Demi Lovato is none too happy with Stalker Sarah.
The 23-year-old “Stone Cold” singer lashed out at the 20-year-old super fan on Instagram after a private incident with her family.
Demi went off on Sarah, who is a staple around Hollywood, getting selfies and hanging out with all of your favorite celebs, days after Sarah was seen hanging out with her younger sister, Madison de La Garza.
“GET A JOB. STAY AWAY FROM HER,” were some of the comments Demi made on Sarah‘s posts.
“For anyone reading this: this girl has no regard for anyone’s well being but her own. She completed takes advantage of people, even 14 years olds even though she’s 20,” Demi added, “My family is not afraid to press charges.”
