Fans React To Demi Lovato's New Song '15 Minutes' About Max Ehrich

Demi Lovato‘s new album Dancing With The Devil… The Art of Starting Over is out now, and one song in particular has fans buzzing!

The 28-year-old entertainer’s 14th track on the album is titled “15 Minutes,” and is essentially a diss track to her ex-fiancé Max Ehrich.

“‘Cause you were looking for fifteen minutes, yeah / And now you got fifteen minutes, yeah / Pack your stuff, you can come and get it, yeah,” she sings in the chorus. “Ain’t goodbye but it’s good riddance / You got fifteen minutes / Hope you enjoy your fifteen minutes.”

In the first chorus, after Demi sings “Pack your stuff, you can come and get it, yeah,” she laughs, and fans think this is a reference to Selena Gomez‘s song “Come and Get It,” because of his past love of Selena.

Later in the song, she then addresses the infamous photos and video of Max seemingly crying at the beach where we proposed to her.

“Prayin’ in Malibu, prayin’ in Malibu, how could you, how could you? / Prayin’ in Malibu, prayin’ in Malibu, I hope it saved you / Prayin’ in Malibu, prayin’ in Malibu, how could you, how could you? / Crying in Malibu,” Demi sings in the bridge.

Demi Lovato Has a 'Savagely Upbeat' Song About Max Ehrich Breakup on New Album

Demi Lovato‘s upcoming album Dancing With The Devil… The Art of Starting Over is perhaps her most personal album to date.

The 28-year-old entertainer’s seventh LP will touch on subjects like her overdose, her sobriety, and even her short lived romance with Max Ehrich last year.

Demi‘s album features a song called “15 Minutes,” which EW reports is a “savagely upbeat banger” that turns Max’s clout chaser comments back onto him. In the song, Demi sings, “Good riddance — you got your 15 minutes.”

“I really had myself fooled, because it was the safe and expected thing,” she told EW about the relationship. “Obviously I cared deeply about the person, but there was something inside of me that was like, ‘I have to prove to the world that I’m okay.’ Now that I’m not engaged or married and I’m okay, I’m like, ‘Wow. Isn’t that so much more empowering?’ It’s not this false sense of security.”

“Also, the size of that ring, it made it really real. The second it was off, I was like, ‘You know what? I’m good. I don’t need that.’ I just don’t need an object on my finger to make me feel like I’ve got my s— together,” Demi added. “It looks like stability, but it doesn’t mean that it is. And I don’t actually grow through stability. I find that I like living not in chaos or crisis, but in fluidity. It’s not [being] stuck and stagnant in an ideal or a tradition that was placed upon us by the patriarchy.”

Max Ehrich Accuses Ex Demi Lovato of Using Him For Clout Once Again

Max Ehrich is speaking out about ex-fiancee Demi Lovato.

The 29-year-old actor took to her Instagram comments to accuse her of using him again.

Max commented on one of Demi‘s recent posts showing off her new hair, and commented on her 2020 People’s Choice Awards opening monologue, where she joked about their short-lived engagement.

“I went into lockdown mode, and got engaged,” Demi said in her monologue. “I got into painting, photography, meditation, tested the limits of post mates unlimited. Also, I didn’t know this could happen, but reached the end of Instagram four times. I binged seven seasons of Pretty Little Liars, got unengaged, then went looking for aliens in the desert.”

“Stop talking about me on award shows. Thanks,” Max wrote in her comments. “exploiting our breakup for clout at PCA is not chill.”

Back in October, Max went on Instagram live and went on about his ex and their breakup, and accused her of using their breakup to boost sales for her new song, “Still Have Me.”

Demi actually released the track on her social media for fans for over 14 hours before it was even available on streaming services or for digital download.

Demi Lovato Jokes About Her Short-Lived Engagement at the People's Choice Awards

Demi Lovato is poking fun at herself while hosting the 2020 People’s Choice Awards on Sunday (November 15) from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

During the 28-year-old’s opening monologue, she spoke about things she did in 2020, before the pandemic, and during.

“I am so excited to be here tonight because honestly this year has been the longest three years of my life,” she said. “Don’t get me wrong, it started out amazing. I performed at the Grammys and sang the national anthem at the Super Bowl. But then, COVID hit, and everything shut down.”

Demi also joked about her two month long engagement to Max Ehrich, which she called off back in September.

“So I did what everyone else did, I went into lockdown mode, and got engaged,” Demi continued. “I got into painting, photography, meditation, tested the limits of post mates unlimited. Also, I didn’t know this could happen, but reached the end of Instagram four times. I binged seven seasons of Pretty Little Liars, got unengaged, then went looking for aliens in the desert.”

“So basically the same as everyone else,” she concluded with a laugh.

Demi Lovato Is Asking Lawyers How to Deal with Max Ehrich After Breakup, Source Says

Demi Lovato wants nothing to do with her ex-fiance Max Ehrich after their breakup, but it doesn’t seem like the feeling is mutual.

The 28-year-old singer is reportedly consulting with lawyers to find out how she should deal with Max as he is “not leaving her alone,” a source told E! News.

The news comes just one day after he was spotted sulking at the beach where he proposed to her over the summer.

The source said that Demi “is having all sorts of issues with Max not leaving her alone… He has been trying to get in contact with her family and friends and they have all blocked him. She’s in contact with lawyers now on what to do.”

Another source told the outlet a couple weeks ago that Demi is embarrassed by how Max is handling the breakup. He went on Instagram Live on October 2 and accused her of being the one to use the breakup for publicity.

Demi wants no contact with Max at this point. She is completely embarrassed at the way he’s been acting and putting their relationship on blast via social media,” the source previously said. “She wants nothing to do with him.”

Max Ehrich Gets Choked Up on Instagram Live While Accusing Demi Lovato of Using Him

Max Ehrich got emotional while talking to his fans on Instagram Live and he had some big accusations about his ex-fiancee Demi Lovato, just one week after their split.

The 29-year-old Young and the Restless star accused Demi of using him for PR. He previously claimed that he learned about the split by reading it in a tabloid.

Demi and Max started dating in March and got engaged in July. They split last week after people close to her allegedly told her that her fiance didn’t have the right intentions.

“It’s just the craziest thing. This is the most bizarre experience that I hope no one ever has to experience, ever. Because no person deserves to feel this way,” Max said on his Instagram Live.

Max then brought Ariana Grande into his argument by talking about her breakup from an ex-fiance. He said, “Pete Davidson didn’t deserve to feel this way. Do you think he wrote that text to Mac Miller? Ha. Open your eyes. Calculated PR stunt, but my team is going to hate me for saying any of this.”

Max signed off from the live by saying, “I was in love. The whole world should f–king know it. I thought I found the real deal, now I found out that I was used. But I hope the song is number one, because you know what, if that’s what someone wants in the material world, here you go, you have it. I hope this makes you happy. Enjoy. You just lost someone who loved you fully, completely, infinitely, for everything.”
