The two engaged musicians walked the carpet together ahead of the show, where Kelsea will be performing her song “Legends” with Reba McEntire.

Kelsea Ballerini keeps close to fiance Morgan Evans at the 2017 ASCAP Country Music Awards held at the Ryman Auditorium on Monday night (November 6) in Nashville, Tenn.
The “Unapologetically” singer was honored and performed at the event, before accepting another honor, the Impact Award during the 2017 CMT Next Women Of Country Celebration on Tuesday (November 7).
In a recent interview, Morgan opened up about how he knew he was going to marry Kelsea even before he met her.
“I think it was over the Fourth of July weekend [and] one of my really good friends came in town with his girl, and I picked them up from the airport,” Morgan remembers. “He asked, ‘What’s happening? What are you listening to?’”
He continues, “And I pushed play on the CD that was in [my stereo], and I said, ‘This is my future wife.’ And it was her record ['The First Time'].”

Go no more than two weeks without seeing each other.
Kelsea explains to People, “We’re buddies. We crack up together, and we have to be able to talk a lot because we’re not together a lot.”
She adds, “The two-week rule and just the fact that we genuinely just like each other along with loving each other [are the secrets].”
Kelsea and Morgan got engaged last Christmas and are planning to say their “I Dos” soon.
Kelsea Ballerini hasn’t found wedding planning to be stressful at all; she’s just happy to have found her perfect match in fiance Morgan Evans.
“We’re getting close,” the 24-year-old “Legends” singer told People this weekend.
“He has as single to put out. I have an album to put out beforehand, so we’re both very busy, but I think we’re pretty much done. I have the dress. We have the place. We have the plane ticket. We’re ready to go.”
Kelsea also revealed that the nuptial planning hasn’t been hard at all.
“Everything has been easy,” she said. “I get to marry him.”

The 24-year-old country/pop songstress took the stage during the fest’s Daytime Village on Saturday afternoon (September 23) in Las Vegas.
Kelsea and Morgan, who are set to tie the knot this year, shared a sweet kiss backstage before her performance.
After the show, Kelsea took to her Instagram to share some onstage pics, captioning one photo “happy girl.”
The fun didn’t stop there though! It looks like Kelsea and Morgan are on their way to a quick couple’s getaway!
“Stealing this one for the next 24hrs,” Morgan wrote on his Instagram, along with a cute selfie.

Kelsea Ballerini‘s upcoming album comes out in just a few more months and she’s admitted that her fiance, Morgan Evans, inspired a lot of the songs on there.
But, not all of it.
“It’s going to be interesting when this album comes out seeing people pick up on who the songs are about,” Kelsea shared with Vulture in a new interview. “I don’t quite know what to expect honestly.”

Kelsea adds, “I just wanted to have these moments and these textures that added real life to my album. Obviously he’s a huge part of it, because he inspired the whole back half of it.”
