Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra got all dolled up to announce the nominations for the 2021 Oscars on Monday (March 15).
The couple were on hand from London to reveal the nominees together.
“Here we go! @priyankachopra and I are revealing the #OscarNoms this morning 😎 Tune-in to any of @TheAcademy accounts to watch live!” Nick shared on Instagram ahead of the live event.
This year’s Academy Awards ceremony will take place on April 25th from two locations – the Dolby Theater in Hollywood and Union Station in Los Angeles.
One exciting moment for Priyanka while revealing the nominees was when she got to announce the nominations for Best Adapted Screenplay. Her Netflix film The White Tiger is up for the award, for writer/director Ramin Bahrani.
“We just got nominated for an Oscar! Congratulations Ramin and team #TheWhiteTiger. Somehow announcing the nomination myself made it so much more special. So so proud â¤ï¸,” she shared on Instagram.
If you missed it, Nick just dropped the deluxe version of his new album Spaceman, and it features a brand new Jonas Brothers song!

Great news for Disney fans waiting to see Mulan!
It was been revealed that the live action version will be available at no extra cost to Disney+ subscribers, you just have to wait a little while longer.
According to Deadline, the upcoming film’s Premier Access fee will only apply through November 2nd, then a month later, it will be available for all subscribers as regular access on December 4th.
Disney made headlines, with many fans upset, when they announced the movie would come out on the streaming platform THIS Friday (September 4) with a Premier Access fee of $29.99. The good news with that is for those who pay for the early access to the film, it will remain as part of your library so you can continue to watch it as many times as you want.
Good news for Disney fans that are debating on paying for Mulan on Disney+!
The upcoming film was announced to be released on the streaming platform, but at a premium fee, but now we know that you will get to keep the movie.
Fans who pay the premium, additional fee of $29.99 in the US to watch Mulan will have it permanently added to their library.
“For those wondering if Mulan is a $30 rental, a Disney spokesperson told me that ‘the fee provides ongoing access to the film as long as they remain Disney+ subscribers,’” CNN reporter Frank Pallotta said on Twitter.
“We thought it was important to find alternative ways to bring this exceptional family friendly film to them in a timely manner,” Disney CEO Bob Chapek said about making the movie available on demand.

Ross Butler is sharing his thoughts on the premium fee to watch Mulan on Disney+!
The 30-year-old 13 Reasons Why actor took to Twitter to defend Disney for charging extra to stream the new film.
“I understand the confusion for why we need to pay extra to watch #Mulan on Disney+, but here are the facts. Normally it would have come out in theaters and a family of four would have to pay 60+ dollars for everyone to watch. Now, you can watch for half that,” Ross writes. “Unfortunately it won’t be on big screen but we’re all still battling this pandemic and have social guidelines to follow. Also, Disney needs to make its money back for making the movie, which it can’t do if its just collecting subscription that everyone is paying for anyways.”
“In the end, we’re all trying to make ends meet. I think the premium fee for watching Mulan is fair and Disney not taking a huge loss on it will allow them to continue making great movies. I know I’ll still be paying to watch it when it comes out. #AsianPride,” he adds.
Ross also responded to a fan who said that Disney should just push back the release so Mulan can be seen on the big screen.
“I agree, wish it could have had the huge wide release it deserves. But not much we can do about it. Disney needs to make its money back and can’t afford to wait too long. It’s a compromise,” he said.
Mulan is going to Disney+, but there’s a catch!
The live action version of the Disney film finally has a set premiere date for the streaming service, September 24th.
However, CEO Bob Chapek reveals that “in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, and number of countries, we will be offering on Disney+, the epic Mulan on a premiere access beginning Sept. 24, the price point being $29.99 in the U.S.â€
The Disney film will also head to theaters that are open at the time of release.
Mulan, which was originally supposed to hit theaters on March 27th, has faced many release date push backs as a result of Coronavirus, and most recently, it was completely removed from Disney’s release schedule.

Walt Disney Studios has made some changes to their film schedule due to rising Coronavirus cases across the world.
The upcoming live action Mulan has been removed from the release schedule indefinitely.
Mulan was recently pushed back to an August release, but now, there’s no word on when it will come out.
“Over the last few months, it’s become clear that nothing can be set in stone when it comes to how we release films during this global health crisis, and today that means pausing our release plans for Mulan as we assess how we can most effectively bring this film to audiences around the world,†a Disney spokesperson said in a statement.
