Billie Eilish just released her next single “Your Power” from her upcoming album!
The 19-year-old singer dropped the song and music video on Thursday morning (April 29).
“this is one of my favorite songs i’ve ever written. i feel very vulnerable putting this one out because i hold it so close to my heart. this is about many different situations that we’ve all either witnessed or experienced. i hope this can inspire change. try not to abuse your power,” she wrote on Instagram about the song.
“Your Power” is the third song off of Billie‘s recently announced new album Happier Than Ever, which will be out this summer. It is the 12th song on the LP. See the full track list here!
Other songs already released from the album include “my future” and “Therefore I Am.”
Country-turned-pop singer Julia Rizik is premiering her brand new “Self Destructive” music video right here on Just Jared Jr!
The 20-year-old singer dropped the new song just a few days before, and we have the first look at the new visual.
“‘Self Destructive’ is the most vulnerable song I’ve ever written. I wrote it by myself one night at 4 in the morning. I was in my feels & the lyrics came pouring out,” she told JJJ. “The song is about what felt like a roller coaster of a relationship. I knew we were both bad for each other, but I couldn’t walk away…it felt like an addiction. I know a lot of people have been through the same thing, and I’m hoping this song can help them get through that.”
The new song is off of her upcoming debut pop EP of the same name, out on June 18th. Julia also dished on making the transition from country to pop.
“Transitioning genres for me wasn’t even a choice; it was something I felt I had to do to feel happy & fulfilled with my art,” she told us. “The transition process was insane. It was like becoming a new person simply by figuring out who I am and what I want in life, ironically. I’m grateful for the things I learned when I was younger and where I was before, and I’m in love with where I’m at now.”
