Colton Haynes has responded to Noah Galvin and is calling the young actor’s comments about him “uncalled for” and “embarrassing.”
The 22-year-old openly gay star of The Real O’Nealscriticized the way that Colton, 27, came out of the closet last month.
“It’s extremely ironic that only a month ago I was tweeting this kid and saying that he should win an Emmy for his work,” Colton wrote in a statement on his Instagram account. “Then today he returns the favor by calling me a pussy and the worst to the entire world.”
“Let me just clarify, I’ve never met this kid, so for him to judge me without even meeting and having no idea the struggles I’ve been through or where I come from is absolutely uncalled for and quite frankly embarrassing on his part,” Colton continued. “Since when is a three page article in Entertainment Weekly not an appropriate way to come out? And since when did he become the judge of what’s appropriate. Shouldn’t we all be supporting each other? Enjoy all of your success. You’re young kid… hopefully you’ll eventually learn a thing or two. Good luck. I’m sure I’ll seeya around.”
Colton signed off by calling himself “Colton Pussy Haynes.”
Noah has since written an apology letter for the “brazen and hurtful” comments in his Vulture article.
