Laura Marano has a brand new music video out for her upcoming holiday movie The War With Grandpa!
The 24-year-old actress and singer, who plays Mia, performs the upbeat song “Point of War” for the comedy film.
In the new music video for the track, Laura is joined by her young co-stars from the movie, Oakes Fegley, Juliocesar Chavez, Isaac Kragten, T.J. McGibbon, Poppy Gagnon, and Lydia Styslinger, as well as one of the movie’s producers Tre Peart.
Here’s a synopsis: Sixth-grader Peter (Fegley) is pretty much your average kid-he likes gaming, hanging with his friends and his beloved pair of Air Jordans. But when his recently widowed grandfather Ed (De Niro) moves in with Peter’s family, the boy is forced to give up his most prized possession of all, his bedroom.
Unwilling to let such an injustice stand, Peter devises a series of increasingly elaborate pranks to drive out the interloper, but Grandpa Ed won’t go without a fight. Soon, the friendly combatants are engaged in an all-out war with side-splitting consequences.
The War With Grandpa is based off of the book of the same by Robert Kimmel Smith.
Ansel Elgort hits the red carpet for the premiere of The Goldfinch on Sunday afternoon (September 8) at the Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto, Canada.
The 25-year-old actor looked sharp in a black suit as he attended the premiere alongside co-stars Finn Wolfhard, Oakes Fegley, and Nicole Kidman at TIFF.
The Goldfinch hits theaters on Friday, September 13th.

Ansel Elgort is going to get a lot of awards attention for his upcoming movie The Goldfinch and he’s getting an early start at promoting the film!
The 25-year-old actor made an appearance during the Warner Bros. panel at 2019 CinemaCon on Tuesday (April 2) at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
Ansel was joined by co-stars Oakes Fegley, Aneurin Barnard, and Finn Wolfhard. The movie, which opens on September 12, is based on Donna Tartt‘s 2014 Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name.
“I hope that people find a piece of themselves in the story, and I hope that whatever drew all those people to that book will also draw them to this movie,” Ansel said in a message to fans (via IndieWire). “I think they will be drawn to this movie, because they did a pretty great job capturing that tone and telling this epic story.â€
Oakes Fegley wears glasses while filming his scenes for The Goldfinch in New York City on Tuesday afternoon (January 30).
The young actor was spotted shooting at Hobart and Blackwell antiques store and chatting with director John Crowley between takes.
Oakes, who you might remember as Pete from Pete’s Dragon, will star as a young version of Ansel Elgort‘s Theodore in the movie.
The Goldfinch, also starring Finn Wolfhard, is about a boy in New York, who is taken in by a wealthy Upper East Side family after his mother is killed in a bombing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Oakes Fegley goes all out for his first premiere in a bowtie at the Pete’s Dragon premiere held at El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on Monday night (August 8).
Opening in theaters THIS Friday, August 12th, Pete’s Dragon centers on an orphaned boy named Pete and his best friend Elliot, who just so happens to be a dragon.
