The 20-year-old YouTube star, who left the platform for nearly a year amid her family’s alleged involvement in the nationwide college admissions scandal, returned with a YouTube makeup tutorial on Wednesday (December 18).
The 16-minute “Get Ready With Me” tutorial finds the YouTube star walking her fans through her look.
“Hi guys! Welcome back to my YouTube channel…so just an update, also, I have a vlog that I’m still working on a filming. It’s just not done. I wanted to get this video — or really any video — up sooner after my initial video, but I’m not done with it and I’m still just like easing back into it. So thanks for being patient. You guys are awesome.â€
The 20-year-old influencer just posted her first video since the college admissions scandal news broke nine months ago.
She returned to her channel to share a two minute video giving insight to what has been going on in her life.
While Olivia said there is not much she can share for legal reasons, she has greatly missed making YouTube videos.
“A huge part of me is not the same because this is something I’m very passionate about…I’ve debated it for seven or eight months, if I can’t talk about it, is there a point coming back?” Olivia said.
She continued, “I want to move on with my life, not trying to be in a selfish way…I want to try taking small steps in the right direction.”
Olivia says she plans to start posting vlogs in the near future.

Olivia and Jackson first went public with their relationship at the beginning of this year but reportedly broke up in May. They got back together during the summer and have been dating ever since!
In case you didn’t know, Jackson is also a musician. He recently released a new EP called Stories, along with a short film that features three of the songs.
Earlier this month, Olivia was seen out on a shopping trip at the Madhappy boutique with a friend.
