The Driver Era Dish On New Song 'Places'

The Driver Era just released their new song “Places” on Friday (August 7)!

Ross and Rocky Lynch‘s new track is their fourth song since the beginning of quarantine.

The guys recently opened up about “Places” and about how the pandemic has been for their creativity.

“The song was written before COVID, but that seems to keep happening where we write a song and it somehow finds relevance with what’s happening in the world at the time of its release,” they told VMAN about the new song. “For example, we released a song called ‘OMG Plz Don’t Come Around‘ right when the US was shutting down.”

“It’s been back and forth. The way our lives are and what’s happening around us definitely affects the music – but I do like hiding in the studio a lot. COVID has given me plenty of opportunities to do that,” the brothers said about the pandemic.

'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina' Will End After Part Four on Netflix

We are so upset to report that The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has been cancelled by Netflix.

According to TVLine, the series, which starred Kiernan Shipka in the title role, will end after the final eight episodes.

“Working on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has been an incredible honor from Day One,” showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa shared in a statement. “The cast, beginning with Kiernan as everyone’s favorite teen witch, has been an absolute joy.”

He added, “I am beyond thankful to the crew, writers, editors, assistants, and everyone for pouring so much love into this dark dream of a show. I’m also grateful to our partners at Netflix, Warner Bros., Berlanti Television and Archie Comics for letting us tell the story we wanted to tell, the way we wanted to tell it. We can’t wait for everyone to see Part Four.”

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will return for its final eight (8) episodes this fall where the series will focus on The Eldritch Terrors who “descend upon Greendale and the coven must fight each terrifying threat one-by-one (The Weird, The Returned, The Darkness to name a few), all leading up to…The Void, which is the End of All Things. As the witches wage war, with the help of The Fright Club, Nick begins to slowly earn his way back into Sabrina’s heart, but will it be too late?”

The show will return this fall and also starred Ross Lynch, Jaz Sinclair, Lachlan Watson, Gavin Leatherwood, Lucy Davis, Miranda Otto, Chance Perdomo, Tati Gabrielle, Adeline Rudolph and Abigail Cowen.
