Sadie Stanley joined her Kim Possible cast-mates in the photo booth after their appearance at Build Series in New York City on Thursday (January 31).
The 15-year-old actress, with Ciara Wilson, Sean Giambrone, Taylor Ortega, and Todd Stashwick, dished about their upcoming movie, premiering on Disney Channel next week.
Sadie revealed in the interview that Kim Possible was actually her first audition ever.
“I felt like I was very out of my league,” she shared. “I thought I was going to start a lot smaller in terms of auditions.”
Sadie adds, “I think that’s what worked for me in that I went into the audition with this attitude of I’m just going to have fun.”
Revealed on EW today, the actress, who voiced the character in the animated series for years, will be playing Poppy Blu, a famous pop star and friend of Kim’s.
“I’m here to pick Kim up because Kim doesn’t have a driver’s license,†Christy shared, hinting at the nod to the animated series where Kim would call on many of her friends for rides all over the world. “She doesn’t have her driver’s license, but she needs to get rides from the Marines or famous people, if you remember, to get to her missions.”
She added, “Kim is just like every teenager, but she happens to know some really important people, and Poppy Blue happens to be one of those important people.â€

Much like the animated series, the theme song for Kim Possible is also getting a reboot.
Sadie Stanley, who plays the title character in the upcoming movie, shows off her vocals for the updated theme song.
The new version still has the same lyrics and chorus, but with a modern twist.
“The new production of ‘Call Me, Beep Me’ is a modern dance pop arrangement created for our star, Sadie Stanley,” Steven Vincent, vice president of music and soundtracks at Disney Channel shared about the track. “We kept the integrity of the original song but make it sound like it was written today.”
In the new clip for the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie, star Sadie Stanley is in a rush to make her bus to school, but needs to save a baby stroller that rolls down the street first.
While there’s no synopsis just yet, we’ll get to see the origin of Kim’s crime-fighting story and her take on Drakken and She-Go in the upcoming DCOM.
The upcoming movie comes 16 years after the popular high school hero made her debut on the network, becoming a global hit and then going on to have two successful movies.
Sadie Stanley looks like royalty as she arrives at the premiere of Mary Poppins Returns held at the Dolby Theatre on Thursday night (November 29) in Hollywood.
The Kim Possible starlet was joined by her co-stars of the future DCOM, Ciara Wilson and Sean Giambrone.
