Sam Tsui is dropping his music video for “Just For Tonight”, exclusively on JustJaredJr.com and it’s so cool and visually stunning!
The track is featured on his Trust album and he cites the song as one of his favorites.
“In addition to [the song] being a really fun, anthemic track, it also means a lot to me personally,” Sam told JJJ. “The song is about the thrill and magic of first learning to express yourself outside of existing constraints, acknowledging the fact that for many those opportunities only come all too fleetingly.”
As for the video, Sam shared that he wanted to tell a story with a sci-fi slant.
“The result is a Black Mirror-esque story of escape into a virtual reality. While of course the colorful neon and energy of the ‘fantasy’ world highlight the song’s rousing throwback vibe,” he says. “I’m also incredibly excited to have gone a little darker this time with the narrative and ending – and I also knew I wanted to celebrate the role that friendship plays in our quest to discover ourselves and break free of the things that hold us back.”
