Pentatonix Join Kelly Clarkson For Billboard Music Awards 2020 Opening Performance

Pentatonix reunited with Kelly Clarkson on stage at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards, which aired on Wednesday (October 14) from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

The group – Kevin Olusola, Matt Sallee, Mitch Grassi, Scott Hoying and Kirstin Maldonado – performed “Higher Love” with the host and Sheila E.

“WE ARE SO EXCITED!! 💜 The show’s about to begin! Tune in to @NBC right now so you don’t miss our opening performance with @kellyclarkson and @SheilaEdrummer! #BBMAs,” they wrote Twitter ahead of their performance.

“It felt SO good to be back on stage doing what we love most!! 🎤🎶💜 Opening the show with @kellyclarkson and @SheilaEdrummer singing #HigherLove was MAGICAL! Thanks for having us @BBMAs! ✨ #BBMAs,” PTX added afterwards.

Earlier in the day, Pentatonix announced their next original album The Lucky Ones will be released on February 12, 2021. Their brand new original single, “Be My Eyes,” was also released today. Check it out here!

Pentatonix Release First Original Song In 5 Years - Listen to 'Happy Now'!

Pentatonix are back with new, original music!

The Grammy award winning group – Kevin Olusola, Matt Sallee, Mitch Grassi, Scott Hoying, and Kirstin Maldonado – just released their new single “Happy Now” on Friday (August 14).

The track is their first original song since 2015 when they released their self-titled original album, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart.

“We’ve all been evolving – individually and as a group – and I think we’ve really leveled-up in terms of seeking out our own happiness. So, to me, this song is a little bit about us turning the page and being ready for a new chapter,” Kristin said about the new song.

Earlier this summer, PTX released their At Home EP, featuring covers of songs by Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, The Weeknd, and more.

Demi Lovato and Madelaine Petsch are two of the celebs featured in Kim Petras‘ new music video for her latest single “Malibu“!

The 25-year-old Riverdale star’s BFF Daniel Preda is also in the video, along with Aly & AJ, Todrick Hall, Nikita Dragun, Charli XCX, Loren Gray, Paris Hilton, Brittany Tomlinson, and Scott Hoying.

Jonathan Van Ness, Benito Skinner, Pabllo Vittar, Jessie J, Aquaria, Amanda Lepore, Dorian Electra, Bowen Yang, Slayyyter, Gabriel Fontana, and Theodoraa Quinlivan, along with many fans, can also be seen in the music video.

Kim recently opened up getting fans to be in the at home video.

“I’ve been asking all my fans to send me videos of them bringing the beach to their home. So, I’ve been getting so many videos of them in bikinis, with drinks, on beach towels, in their bathtub,” she told Apple Music. “People have really been getting creative for that.”

“So, I’m really excited for that to come out because I really think that’s going to make you feel like you just went to the beach, which was initially all I want to do with the song,” Kim added. “I just want you to feel like you just went to the beach and have a good time. That’s really all I want from the song.”

Emma Roberts and Nick Jonas hit the orange carpet at the premiere of their new movie UglyDolls!

The Nerve actress and the “Jealous” singer stepped out for the event held at Regal Cinemas L.A. Live on Saturday (April 27) in Los Angeles.

They were joined by Pentatonix – who provided original music for the film along with Nick – plus director Kelly Asbury.

One Day at a Time actress Isabella Gomez was also there to show her support.

Pentatonix have just released their newest song, called “Come Along”!

The a capella group – Kevin Olusola, Matt Sallee, Mitch Grassi, Scott Hoying, and Kirstin Maldonado – dropped the fun cover, which was original performed by Cosmo Sheldrake.

Pentatonix Step Out in Style For Grammy Awards 2019

Pentatonix slay the red carpet while arriving at the 2019 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Sunday (February 10) in Los Angeles.

The band – Matt Sallee, Kristin Maldonado, Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, and Kevin Olusola – complimented each others’ looks for the annual award show.

Pentatonix have won several Grammy awards in the past, including Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Cappella in both 2015 and 2016.

The group also just announce their upcoming world tour, with tickets going on sale this week!

The show will be hosted this year by 15-time Grammy winner Alicia Keys. Make sure to tune in at 8pm ET/5pm PT on CBS!
