The first teaser trailer for Jenna Ortega and Maddie Ziegler‘s upcoming movie The Fallout just premiered!
Secret Life of the American Teenager‘s Megan Park wrote and directed the film, which is actually her directorial debut.
The movie is a film about the unseen faces of a tragedy, those who can’t turn their pain into effecting positive change in the world because they are too afraid to leave their bedrooms. Three teenagers form a unique and dynamic bond as they navigate the never linear, often confusing journey to heal in a world that feels forever changed.
The recently engaged 29-year-old actress will star as Chase in the thriller Panopticon, Deadlinereveals.
The film, which will begin shooting in New Mexico this summer with director Andres Baiz, will also star Jacob Latimore and Anthony Mackie.
Chase is “an ambitious young Wall Street trader who seizes upon a hot investment opportunity in PCC Correctional, a private prison group racking up huge profits. She soon uncovers an operation rife with violence and malfeasance. Forced to choose between profiting from a gold mine career opportunity and doing the right thing, Chase teams up with a local prison guard (Mackie) to take on a culture of corrupt boardrooms, white supremacists, prison gangs and crooked correctional officers, to break apart the system that’s made her a rising star.”
Shailene will also be seen in her former Secret Life of the American Teenager co-star Megan Park‘s directorial debut The Fallout, with Jenna Ortega and Maddie Zeigler. The new movie is making it’s debut at the upcoming 2021 SXSW Festival in March!
After weeks of speculation that Shailene Woodley is engaged to be married, she is finally speaking out to confirm the news is true!
The 29-year-old actress told Jimmy Fallon on Monday night (February 22) that she’s indeed getting married to Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
“I’ve been reading that too, which is kind of funny… yes, we are engaged. But for us, it’s not new news. Everybody right now is freaking out over it, but we’re like, ‘Oh, we’ve been engaged for a while,’” Shailene said on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “Yeah, we got engaged a while ago and he’s first off a wonderful, incredible human being. But I never thought I’d be engaged with somebody who threw balls for a living. Like, I never thought as a little girl, I was like, ‘Yeah, when I grow up, I’m gonna marry someone who throws balls! Yeah!’ But he’s really just so good at it.”

For the third time in his career, Aaron Rodgers is crowned the NFL's Most Valuable Player.
The former co-stars are set to star in the new political satire film The Fence, along with William Hurt, according toDeadline.
The movie “sees two liberal newlyweds increasingly at odds with their ultra-conservative ex-marine neighbor over a nine-foot-tall fence that he insists on building to keep his home safe from potential terrorists.”
Icelandic director GrÃmur Hákonarson is set to direct the movie, with a screenplay written by Shane Danielsen, from a story by GrÃmur.
This will be the fifth time that Shailene and Miles have worked on a movie together. They of course first starred in the Divergent series, as well as The Spectacular Now.
The cast originally said that they would reunite if 300 people made a voting plan, and over 5,000 people made a voting pledge!
During the virtual reunion, they talked about all things voting, and they also dished about behind-the-scenes of the series, where their characters would be in 10 years, and what kinds of topics the show would cover if it were on today.
The cast also shared if they would be down to film a one-off reunion episode. Check out the video now!
“I feel like we’re actual high school friends,” Megan said about having the cast together. “We sort of have had these formative years together, so to me, you guys actually feel like my OG high school friends, which is kind of cool.”
