Clouds is the true story of Zach Sobiech, a high school kid who is diagnosed with a rare bone cancer. Zach faced the disease by turning to music, writing “Clouds,†a song that went viral and reached No. 1 on iTunes.
The project is based on the memoir “Fly a Little Higher”, written by Zach’s mother, Laura Sobiech.
Steffan will play Zach, who at first doesn’t take the disease very seriously. When reality begins to set in, he realizes he would like to make a difference. The actor nabbed the role in part due to his musical abilities; when he was younger, he was a member of Kids Bop, the sensation that recorded albums and toured North America performing kid-friendly pop songs.
Sabrina will play his best friend with Madison as his romantic interest.
Joey just flew back to LA, where she is working on her new series The Act. She also filmed a scene for her guest spot on Hunter‘s Life in Pieces this morning.

Jake Paul totally nailed his role in Bizaardvark, but did you know he wasn’t originally cast as the male lead in the show?
Before Jake joined the Bizaardvark, the show was actually called Paige & Frankie and revolved around two friends trying to become famous through their comedic music.
While the concept of the show was similar, Jake wasn’t a part of the Paige & Frankie cast and the male lead role was given to actor Steffan Argus.
When the show got picked up by Disney Channel, the concept changed and Steffan was unfortunately cut from the cast.
“I filmed this pilot. I was so excited about it. It was so much fun and had an amazing cast and crew…the role was perfect. I was like a rocker kid,” Steffan explained to YSBnow.
He continued, “It ended up getting reworked and the pilot didn’t go forward the way it was orignally planned. I was no longer a part of it which was really hard for me. That was like getting so close and it felt so real. But everything happens for a reason, and it’s really hard to understand that when you’re in the moment but it leads you towards exactly what you’re meant to do.â€
The shoot, which was shot by Joe Magnani and styled by Robiat Balogun, paired everyone off into couples – Meg and Corey, Daniella and Marcus, Paris and Steffan, and Jordyn and Carson.

The annual event benefits No Kid Hungry, which works to end child hunger in America. Guests were treated dinner from Buca de Beppo and dessert from Cold Stone Creamery. So far, they’ve raised enough money to provide over 7,000 meals for hungry kids in America!
