Olivia Rodrigo just released her brand new song “deja vu“!
The 18-year-old singer and actress dropped her second track on Thursday morning (April 1).
“The concept of deja vu has always fascinated me and I thought it would be cool to use it in a song around the complex feelings after a relationship ends,†she shared in a statement. “I started writing and recording ‘deja vu’ last fall and had so much fun creating the different melodies and sonic textures that you hear throughout.”
She also premiered the accompanying music video for the song, which co-stars actress Talia Ryder. The video was filmed in Malibu, Calif.

The young nominee wore a pair of pink socks with his look for the ceremony, where he was up for an award.
Ryder was nominated for Best Young Actor/Actress for his work in the AppleTV+ movie Palmer, alongside Talia Ryder for her work in Never Rarely Sometimes Always, and more. The award went to Minari star Alan S. Kim, who walked his own red carpet at home!
Also in attendance at the virtual event were Algee Smith and Joshua Caleb Johnson. Algee attended as his film Judas and the Black Messiah was up for the Best Acting Ensemble award, while Joshua was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series of Movie Made For Television, for his work in The Good Lord Bird.

Zendaya has landed another Critics’ Choice Awards nomination!
The 24-year-old actress earned her second nom for her role as Marie in the new Netflix film Malcolm & Marie.
Zendaya is up for the Best Actress award, alongside fellow actresses Viola Davis, Andra Day, Sidney Flanigan, Vanessa Kirby, Frances McDormand and Carey Mulligan.
Last year, Zendaya was nominated on the TV side, for Best Drama Actress for Euphoria. She is pictured here in the gallery at the 2020 ceremony.
The nominations for 2021 also include the Best Young Actor/Actress category, with nominees Ryder Allen (Palmer), Ibrahima Gueye (The Life Ahead), Alan Kim (Minari), Talia Ryder (Never Rarely Sometimes Always), Caoilinn Springall (The Midnight Sky) and Helena Zengel (News of the World).
