Sorry The Kissing Booth fans – it’s just a rumor!
Taylor Zakhar Perez just confirmed in an interview that he is in fact NOT dating his The Kissing Booth 2 co-star Joey King.
“I know, we went away this weekend for some friends’ birthdays, and her birthday, and everyone kinda freaked about it. I will say that we are not dating,” Taylor told Access.
“We just became really close during filming, but then we became even closer after filming because we live really close to each other,” he added. “I think we’re like a three or four minute drive from each other. We’re kind of each other’s accountability partners during quarantine. So we got to hang out, make sure that we weren’t seeing anybody outside of the circle of people that we trusted.”

The actor recently dished that he had a bit of a difficult time not revealing The Kissing Booth 3.
“It was the hardest thing. This was my first time really doing press for a film and I’m a very straight-up, authentic kind of guy,” he told Variety. “So when it comes to lying, straight-up lying, not even working around it, I was like, ‘Oh, my God, how do we do this?’ And we’re sworn to secrecy with Netflix, and I straight up just really had to lie. But I don’t know when it’s coming out. All I know is 2021.”

Joey King is sharing a raw video of THAT dance with Taylor Zakhar Perez in The Kissing Booth 2!
The now 21-year-old actress uploaded the full video to her Instagram account.
“Dance into the weekend with us AND WATCH THE KISSING BOOTH 2 ON NETFLIX!!! This is the full version that we shot of the final arcade scene with Marco and Elle. We danced the entire day which was killer on my shin splints but my dance partner made it all worth it. This was a really exhausting day but more fun than anything else. I miss this a lot 🥺â¤ï¸,” she wrote with the video.
If you’re wondering why the dance is in front of a green screen, Joey has your answer!
“no it was!!!! Just that specific scene was done on a green screen,” she replied to a fan who said, “So it wasn’t actually in an arcade:(”

It’s finally official – a third movie in The Kissing Booth franchise is on the way and Joey King confirmed that it has ALREADY BEEN FILMED!
The 20-year-old actress was joined by her co-stars Joel Courtney, Taylor Zakhar Perez, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, and Meganne Young to announce the exciting news during a Fan Fest live stream on YouTube.
The latest movie in the franchise ends on a huge cliffhanger and fans are so excited to find out what happens in the next movie.
“I want to thank the fans for their tremendous support… the explosion of love has been so real. It’s because of everyone on here that all of this has happened,” Joey said while announcing the news on the live stream.
The Kissing Booth 3 will be released in 2021 and the movie was filmed back-to-back with the sequel last summer. The cast said that on some days they would shoot scenes for both of the films!
