The Fosters cast will be reuniting virtually for a special to raise money for charity.

Teri Polo and Sherri Saum, who play Stef and Lena Adams Foster, dished on the previously filmed reunion, and the table read.

In case you missed the news, not only will the whole Adams Foster clan be reuniting, but they will also take part in a table read of the show’s pilot episode.

Though Noah Centineo didn’t join the show until season three, the moms dished on him reading the part of Jesus from that first episode, which was originally played by Jake T Austin.

“It felt very different. But whenever a new actor embodies a role, it’s going to be his or her own so that’s to be expected,” Sherri told People. “But Noah’s such an incredible talent and such a natural actor, and we all love him and he loves us, so that came through on top of everything else. He fit right into that glove right with us.”

“I was like, wait, what? Someone else played that part in the beginning? I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Teri joked.

The Fosters reunion will premiere on People.com and EW.com on Thursday evening (July 16) at 8pm ET/5pm PT!

The Fosters family is getting back together again – virtually, of course!

The cast of the super popular Freeform show will reunite in a special one-night-only streaming event to support The Actors Fund.

It was just announced that Teri Polo, Sherri Saum, Hayden Byerly, David Lambert, Maia Mitchell, Cierra Ramirez, Danny Nucci, and Noah Centineo will all take part in the event.

The cast will also take part in a table read, directed by Michael Medico, who has directed episodes of both The Fosters and Good Trouble. Co-creator and EP Peter Paige will read the stage directions and fellow co-creators and executive producers Bradley Bredeweg and Joanna Johnson will read an introduction. To top it off, Kari Kimmel will sing the theme song live!

Other actors who have had recurring roles on the show that will make appearances in the virtual reunion include Jay Ali, Alexandra Barreto, Madisen Beaty, Daffany Mcgaray Clark, Colby French, April Parker Jones, Adam Kang, David Sullivan, Annie Potts, Lorraine Toussaint, Bailee Madison, Alex Saxon, Amanda Leighton, Tom Williamson, Rosie O’Donnell, and Ashley Argota.

OMG! We are so so SO excited about the Good Trouble Christmas special!

We just found out that the entire Adams-Foster clan will all reunite for the holiday, thanks to TV Line.

Not only will we get to see The Fosters cast all together once again, but they’ll also be joined by Brandon’s in-laws, which includes Callie’s current boyfriend Jamie.

While we’ve seen each of the Foster clan make individual appearances on Good Trouble, this will be the first time since The Fosters finale they’ve all been together as a whole.

Cierra Ramirez and Maia Mitchell will be joined by Hayden Byerly, David Lambert, Sherri Saum, Teri Polo, and yes, Noah Centineo, as well as Beau Mirchoff, Abigail Cowen, Spencer List, Robert Gant, and Susan Walters.

We first heard about a two hour Good Trouble Christmas special coming to the Coterie, but now we are beyond excited to see the whole family together!

Noah Centineo is on top of the world right now, but his first big break wasn’t all that.

The 23-year-old actor revealed during his 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards Breakthrough Performance acceptance speech that he wasn’t that happy on The Fosters.

“It’s been a wild ride. My life changed drastically in the past year,” Noah said. “I did a little show called The Fosters and over the years since I did that show, I learned that external things don’t actually make you happy. They didn’t make me happy. I actually was like really, really upset while doing that show. Not because the show wasn’t an amazing show, I just wasn’t happy with all of these things outside of myself.”

“I found that truly the thing that made me happy, the thing that actually fulfilled me was not having a successful career, it was doing what I love and giving back to other people,” he added.

Cierra Ramirez is remembering where it all started.

The 24-year-old actress shared a sweet note about The Fosters, which catapulted her and Maia Mitchell‘s spinoff Good Trouble.

“6 years ago, today @thefosterstv premiereed on tv for the first time, & my life was changed forever. So blessed & thankful to say that I was able to play a mall part in something that has made such a huge impact. Thank you for letting our messy, beautiful family into your homes. We love you,” she wrote on Instagram story.

The Fosters aired on ABC Family turned Freeform from 2013 to 2018, and Good Trouble premiered in January 2019. Season two of Good Trouble premieres June 18th on Freeform!

Teri Polo and Sherri Saum are about to get into some Good Trouble!

The actresses, who portrayed Stef and Lena Adams Foster, respectively, on Freeform’s The Fosters, are set to reprise their roles on the spin-off series, Deadline reports.

Callie (Maia Mitchell) and Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) will be reuniting with their moms for two episodes in the first half of Good Trouble‘s first season.

Teri and Sherri are the first Fosters cast members who have been confirmed to guest-star on Good Trouble, though Freeform EVP Karey Burke has told the outlet, “We plan to have all characters from the original series make guest appearances.”

Good Trouble follows Callie and Mariana as they move to Los Angeles and begin their lives as young adults. Production has begun in Los Angeles for premiere in 2019.

As much as we all love the pairing of Callie and Brandon on The Fosters, they were never going to end up together at the end of the series.

Executive producer and co-showrunner Joanna Johnson opened up about just why the couple weren’t end game with TVLine.

“We decided pretty early on that we didn’t think they should be together, because we liked them better as family,” she shares. “Also, [we wanted] to respect the rules of foster care. Foster siblings cannot be involved, and we really wanted to make that message clear to people, because we do think that’s the right thing.”

“We really wanted to really end that love story and close that door, but have them really acknowledge how much they care about each other, and how they’d rather have each other in their lives forever than have some romance that could have flamed out,” she adds. “It was nice to acknowledge that, yes, there is a certain chemistry between these two, but it’s not something they’re going to ever act on again.”

Joanna adds that seeing Brandon get married to Eliza was a very different thing for Callie than it was for anyone else in the family.

For everyone in the family, it’s like, “Oh, my God, one of us is getting married already!” and for the moms, it’s like, “I can’t believe one of our children is getting married,” but for Callie, it’s a special thing. I don’t know that we had ever completely resolved their feelings in the series, in the sense that once she was adopted, Brandon had to move out for a while and go live with Mike.”

She continues, “They haven’t been living in the same house now for five years, on and off. They’ve been in college. Did that distance make them feel like, “Maybe we could be together”? They didn’t grow up together, so it’s not like it’s that strange. It could['ve] happen[ed].”
