JoJo Siwa posted a new TikTok video this week that really has fans talking!

On Wednesday (January 20), the 17-year-old shared a video where she lip-syncs to Lady Gaga‘s “Born This Way.”

Fans are pointing out that JoJo was wearing rainbow themed attire, with rainbow lights in the background, and she only emphasized the lip-sync on the line, “No matter gay, straight, or bi, lesbian, transgender life, I’m on the right track baby, I was born to survive.”

Many are leading to believe that this was JoJo‘s way of coming out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. She has not spoken out confirming the fan speculation yet, though she did like a tweet of a Teen Vogue article titled, “Fans Think JoJo Siwa Came Out as Queer.”

She also retweeted a tweet from Anastasia Golovashkina, which showed the video, and said, “@itsjojosiwa is on the right track, she was born this way,” along with the rainbow flag and two hearts emojis.

According to fans, James Charles commented on her TikTok post, “I’M SO HAPPY FOR YOU,” and JoJo‘s brother Jayden also commented, “So happy for you JoJo!! Love you!”

Addison Rae Talks TikTok & If She Would Leave The Platform

Addison Rae is dishing on TikTok!

The 20-year-old recently opened up about how she deals with negative comments and if she would ever ditch the app.

“The simple answer is I try not to read them…. But I read them,” Addison told Mane Addicts. “I have to remind myself that the people who leave the hateful comments don’t know me. They think they know me based off what they see on social media but they don’t know me completely. So I can’t let that affect my heart and soul.”

Addison also touched on how she stays grounded when other TikTokers are caught in negative headlines.

“This is difficult [laughs]. I’ve definitely had my share of headlines. It’s definitely not true at all [that everyone loves me],” she said. “I receive a lot of hate and for the craziest things. People seem to hate me for being too nice… they just hate it. People are actually so upset about me smiling all the time. They’re like, what the [expletive] is this [expletive] happy about? No, literally, if I laugh in a TikTok, people are like, ‘Why does she have to laugh about everything she does?’”

“I just remind myself at the end of the day that I surround myself with good people who love me and I love them. People want to hide behind the screen and use that to their advantage,” Addison continued. “I always look at it, too, like people who have negative things to say, a lot of them are going through things themselves, and they’re trying to deflect that onto someone else. When you see someone on the internet who’s getting a lot of likes or followers, you don’t necessarily think they’ll see [negative comments], so you just want to project that onto them. It’s like, if I feel this way, I want someone else to feel it, too. f people are being hateful, I just wish the best for them, you know?”

As for if she would ever stop posting on TikTok, “No, I think as long as it’s a thing, I’ll be on it.”

TikTok Is Strengthening Privacy For Users Under 18

TikTok is making some changes for users under the age of 18!

The social app just announced the new privacy and safety practices for youth on the platform.

“At TikTok, we know that creativity and expression are personal. And so is privacy. That’s why we empower our community with a range of controls to manage their online presence. As young people start their digital journey, we believe it’s important to provide them with age-appropriate privacy settings and controls. Today we’re announcing changes for users under age 18 aimed at driving higher default standards for user privacy and safety,” they wrote on their blog.

One of those changes is that the default privacy setting for all accounts ages 13-15 will be set to private. This means that only those who are approved as a follower will be able to see the users videos.

“We want our younger users to be able to make informed choices about what and with whom they choose to share, which includes whether they want to open their account to public views. By engaging them early in their privacy journey, we can enable them to make more deliberate decisions about their online privacy,” TikTok said.

Other changes include tightening the options for those commenting on videos from 13-15-year-olds, changing Duet and Stitch settings to make them available to users 16 and over ONLY, allowing downloads that have been created by 16 and over only, and setting the “Suggest your account to others” to Off by default for users ages 13-15.
