The 29-year-old 13 Reasons Why actor was seen holding hands with the Oscar-nominated actor while walking around the downtown area of New York City on Saturday afternoon (June 19).
Tommy brightened up the streets in an orange dress while Lucas, 24, was seen wearing a tank top, short shorts, and knee-high boots.
Back in May, Tommy celebrated their birthday with Lucas by their side, as seen in a photo shared to Instagram Stories.
The two stars are likely just friends as Tommy has been married to Peter Zurkuhlen since 2016. The couple just posed for some sweet photos together as part of a Pride campaign.
Lucas previously played a gay teen in the movie Boy Erased and he opened up about his sexuality at the time. “I recognize myself as existing on that spectrum: Not totally straight, but also not gay and not necessarily bisexual,” he said.
Lucas was previously linked to Waves co-star Taylor Russell and they made a couple public appearances together. Some of his other movies include Lady Bird, Ben Is Back, Mid90s, Honey Boy, French Exit, and Let Them All Talk.

Tommy Dorfman is asking anyone who is able to to donate to a couple of charities.
The 27-year-old actor took to Instagram to post a thirst trap, but with a message.
“dear diary: today i woke up in my own bed. put on half an outfit and made breakfast. i read @lenadunham first chapter of verified strangers for @voguemagazine, tried to get my dog to eat (she’s had a stomach virus), and am currently redrafting a screenplay, on my fourth cup of coffee,” they wrote in the caption.
“i’m filled with gratitude today for having a home, a bed, and a chosen family to quarantine with. this is not the case for everybody during these dark times and i urge you – with this salacious thirst trap – to help support those in need, if you can. spreading the word is enough. i’m currently putting my efforts into @aliforneycenter and @hopethrusoap – two organizations helping homelessness during this time, in new york city and atlanta,” Tommy added.
They also called out people who have money are choosing not to donate.
“when i see ppl w $$ viewed my stories but can’t even donate $5 – less than the latte you would’ve purchased today if you could’ve!” Tommy wrote with a selfie.
