Laura & Vanessa Marano Just Dropped The First Images From 'Saving Zoe'!

Laura and Vanessa Marano are sharing the very first images from their upcoming movie, Saving Zoe.

The two sisters also serve as producers on the film with mom Ellen, who also shared a first look pic on her Instagram.

The film, also starring Giorgia Whigham, Ken Jeong, Michael Provost and Nathaniel Buzolic, centers on a teenage girl as she looks to discover the truth behind her sister’s murder in a story that hopes to bring to light how prevalent sex crimes and trafficking are online.

Saving Zoe is expected to be out later this year.

Laura & Vanessa Marano Become Royalty at 'Mary Queen of Scots' Event

Laura and Vanessa Marano could not contain their laughter while posing for some regal portraits at Vanity Fair’s Mary, Queen of Scots costume event held at Chateau Marmont on Thursday night (December 6) in Los Angeles.

The two sisters were joined by Isabelle Fuhrman and Jake T. Austin at the event, where guests were treated to a special costume display from the film starring Saoirse Ronan and Margot Robbie.

Vanessa & Laura Marano Glam Up For Equality Now Gala 2018

Vanessa Marano gives off an old school Hollywood vibe while arriving at Equality Now’s Make Equality Reality Gala 2018 held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Monday night (December 3) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 26-year-old actress joined her sister, Laura, and mom Ellen at the annual event. Kerris Dorsey and Odeya Rush were also seen inside the event.

The event honored author Margaret Atwood as a longtime icon and champion of women’s rights, as well as Amandla Stenberg with the inaugural Changemaker Award.

The Changemaker Award celebrates the next generation of activists who are championing gender equality and inspiring positive change through self-expression and active citizenship.

The 26-year-old actress guest starred in a new Bad Boy short, where she had to defend herself against a Gilmore Girls fan who had it out for her character April.

Laura & Vanessa Marano Produced Movie 'Saving Zoe' Will Be Out in 2019

Laura and Vanessa Marano‘s movie, Saving Zoe, is finally getting closer to us!

THR reports that the film, based on Alyson Noel‘s novel of the same name, has been picked up by Blue Fox Entertainment for worldwide sales rights and domestic distribution rights.

Starring the two sisters, plus Giorgia Whigham, Ken Jeong, Michael Provost and Nathaniel Buzolic, centers on a teenage girl as she looks to discover the truth behind her sister’s murder in a story that hopes to bring to light how prevalent sex crimes and trafficking are online.

The plan is for a 2019 theatrical release.

“When we optioned Alyson Noel’s book Saving Zoe ten years ago, we did it because as a mother, as a daughter, as a sister, and as women, we were incredibly moved by a powerful story. Now, a decade later, that same powerful story seems to be more relevant than ever,” Vanessa and Laura, along with mom and producer Ellen shared in a statement.

They added, “We are ecstatic that Blue Fox was as moved today as we were all those years ago and are thrilled to be working with them. Together, we hope to share a film that we couldn’t be more proud of with the world.”

Gregg Sulkin & David Henrie Kick Off Filming on 'This Is The Year'

Filming has begun on David Henrie‘s new movie This Is The Year!

While the 29-year-old actor-turned-director began pre-production on the flick earlier this month, stars Gregg Sulkin, Lorenzo Henrie and Vanessa Marano have just arrived in Alabama for filming.

Gregg took to his Instagram to share a heartfelt message about getting to work with David.

“Off to Alabama today for a project that after years of hard work and dedication, is getting made. As you may know, @davidhenrie became my best friend after working together when I first moved to the States, and I must admit this is a feeling I’ve never felt before heading into a project. He’s always been my best mate, however now he is going to be my director,” Gregg wrote.

He continued, “Honored to be part of this journey with you. Excited to be both in front of the camera and also associate produce this movie. Thank you for being a class act, a mentor and inspiration to me throughout the years. Okay, enough thank you’s. Let’s get to work…Some would say it’s a re-union. I say it’s a new beginning. Let’s get it.”

The story follows a timid high schooler who makes a last-ditch effort to win the girl of his dreams by heading out on a road trip to attend the biggest music festival of the year.
