Alessia Cara joins Zedd on stage for a performance of their hit song “Stay” on tonight’s The Voice finale!
The 20-year-old singer also hit the stage for a second performance of the night alongside finalist Aliyah Moulden as they performed “Scars to Your Beautiful.”
Who doesn’t love an awesome girl anthem? Hailee Steinfeld and Alessia Cara sure know a thing or two about those!
The girls both took the stage at 102.7 KIIS FM’s Wango Tango at the StubHub Center on Saturday (May 13) in Carson, Calif.
Hailee even joined collaborator Machine Gun Kelly on stage for their song “At My Best.” Alessia also joined Zedd for a performance of their song “Stay.” Check out a clip of their performance below!
Unfortunately, Hailee experienced some technical difficulties during her set and poked fun of herself on Twitter afterward.
“Thanks for bearing with me tonight LA. Next time I’m pulling an Adele,” she wrote. “When the sound cuts out right at the top of your set and your just like ‘IT AINT MY FAULT’ #WangoTango,” she added along with a photo.

Zedd & Alessia Cara – ‘Stay’ (Official Music Video)
Alessia Cara is featured on Zedd‘s brand new single “Stay” – and we can’t stop listening!
The pair spoke about their collaboration and what it was like working together.
“I’d loved her songs before but realized that she’s an unbelievable talent when we started rehearsing together.” Zedd said about first meeting Alessia back in 2016. Alessia added, “Zedd was really hands on and made sure I was involved in every part of the process.”
“I think this song is right in the middle between where Alessia is musically and where I am and that’s what’s so exciting about it,” Zedd continued. “I’ve been trying to knock down barriers around music genres and this is another step for me to walk towards a musical future where I can create any genre I want without people putting me in a box.”
Alessia said, “It still feels like me, just an elevated pop sound. I don’t know that I would be in this bold on my own stuff so it’s cool to try these things with collaborators.”
