Zendaya is opening up about what it’s like to hang out with and work with Timothee Chalamet!

The 24-year-old actress shared her thoughts on her Dune co-star in his recent GQ cover story.

“His positive energy is infectious,” she said. “He really is so much fun to be around. We have very similar humor, and we can keep a joke going for a long time, but when the cameras start rolling and it’s time to work, you can see it’s game time, and he just taps into this brilliant intensity. It’s awesome to witness.”

Though Zendaya isn’t in Dune that much, the pair share scenes together, and even engage in a kiss! They’ve also developed quite the friendship since working together.

If you missed the news, Dune is one of the movies whose release has been delayed. It was supposed to premiere this December, but it’s been pushed back nearly a year!

Zendaya was one of five honorees at this year’s 2020 Green Carpet Fashion Awards!

The 24-year-old actress and fashionista received the Visionary award at the ceremony, which recognizes trailblazers in the industry who have been at the forefront of fashion and lead the way in important issues such as sustainability, equality and diversity.

“I just want to say thank you, first and foremost, to Bethann [Hardison], you are an icon and a true trailblazer in this fashion industry, and I am grateful for all that you are and all that you continue to do. You inspire me every day,” Zendaya said in her acceptance speech.

“This is an incredible honor. It means the world to me. I think fashion has always truly lived in my heart ever since I was very, very young,” she continued. “I love clothes and I think it’s so much more than just clothes. I think it’s an art, it’s emotion, it’s feeling, and to me, through clothes I’ve been able to find myself and be more confident in myself as a young woman growing into my womanhood.”

“Also throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of being able to showcase other and different types of beauties through the work that I get to do, and being in more positions of power, more creative positions,” Zendaya said. “I hope to continue to be able to do that until this industry really does reflect the beauty that I get to see every day. So, thank you so much. I’m so excited for the future of this industry and all the beautiful things that we have yet still to accomplish. Thank you.”

Storm Reid is gushing on her friendship with Zendaya!

The two co-star in the HBO series Euphoria, where they play sisters Rue and Gia.

For her November cover story of InStyle magazine, Storm gushed about Zendaya and how she looks up to her.

“I’ve been a fangirl of hers since the beginning of time, and now she’s like my bonus big sister,” Storm told the mag. “She’s so genuine, and whether I need advice about ‘growing up in Hollywood,’ as they say, or just advice as a teenage girl trying to figure out life, she’s always a phone call away.”

She also opened up about how she picks her roles to help create change with more representation.

“The projects I choose to be part of are very intentional,” Storm shared. “I see each one as an opportunity to have a progressive conversation and represent people and situations that are underrepresented. Young girls deserve to see themselves onscreen. Because how can you feel like you’re able to succeed when you don’t see yourself succeeding?”

The upcoming film sci-fi film Dune‘s release date has been pushed back!

The movie, starring Zendaya, Timothee Chalamet, Jason Momoa and more, has been delayed by almost an entire year.

Dune was originally supposed to be released on December 4th of this year, but Warner Bros has pushed it to October 1, 2021, Collider reveals.

Here’s a synopsis: A mythic and emotionally charged hero’s journey, Dune tells the story of Paul Atreides, a brilliant and gifted young man born into a great destiny beyond his understanding, who must travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to ensure the future of his family and his people.

As malevolent forces explode into conflict over the planet’s exclusive supply of the most precious resource in existence—a commodity capable of unlocking humanity’s greatest potential—only those who can conquer their fear will survive.

Dune also stars Oscar Issac, Rebecca Ferguson, Stellan Skarsgård, Javier Bardem, Dave Bautista, Charlotte Rampling and more.

Zendaya has a big movie possibly in the works!

The 24-year-old Emmy award actress is in talks to play Ronnie Spector in a movie about her life, Deadline reports.

Ronnie is a famous singer from the 60s group The Ronnettes and deals have just closed on her life rights and her book “Be My Baby.”

The Ronnettes are most famous for their song “Be My Baby.”

The biopic will be produced by Marc Platt, executive produced by Jonathan Greenfield and Ronnie Spector, and Zendaya will reportedly serve as a producer as well.

According to Deadline, “much the way that Aretha Franklin personally endorsed Jennifer Hudson to play her in the upcoming MGM biopic Respect, Spector chose Zendaya as the actress she wished to portray her in her early years.”

The 24-year-old actress arrived at a studio with her entourage on Thursday afternoon (September 24) in Los Angeles.

Zendaya stayed safe in a face mask while keeping things comfy in a rainbow T-shirt, black sweatpants, and white sneakers as she arrived at work.

Today’s outing marks the first time Zendaya has been spotted out since her big win at the Emmys over the weekend.

At the awards show, Zendaya made history by becoming the youngest woman to win the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series award for her role in Euphoria.

It was a big day for Zendaya and the Euphoria family at the 2020 Emmy Awards and now Jacob Elordi is speaking out to celebrate the moment!

The 23-year-old actor, who previously dated Zendaya after starring alongside her on the HBO series, wrote a congratulatory message on his Instagram Stories.

Jacob shared a photo of Zendaya as Rue and wrote, “Congratulations captain 🖤 @zendaya.”

He added, “Bravo 💜.”

Zendaya and Jacob first sparked dating rumors in the summer of 2019 when they were spotted on vacation together in Greece. They kept their relationship under the radar for nearly the full length of the time they dated.

Fans did catch the couple spending Thanksgiving in Jacob‘s hometown in Australia last year and they also spent time together in New York City earlier this year.
