Zombies 2 officially has a premiere date!

The sequel to the 2018 DCOM starring Meg Donnelly and Milo Manheim will officially debut on Disney Channel and DisneyNow on Friday, February 14th!

Set in the newly united town of Seabrook, Zombies 2 resumes the story as cheerleader Addison (Donnelly) and zombie football player Zed (Manheim) are readying for Seabrook High’s Prawn, the school’s supersized prom.

But when a group of mysterious teenage werewolves, led by Willa, Wyatt and Wynter, unexpectedly arrive in search of an ancient life source buried somewhere in Seabrook, a fearful city council reenacts Seabrook’s anti-monster laws making it impossible for Zed and Addison to attend Prawn together.

Determined to keep their plan to be the first zombie/cheerleader couple to go to the prom, Zed runs for school president against cheer captain, Bucky (Trevor Tordjman), in order to change the rules. While Zed launches into his campaign, Addison is drawn into the werewolves’ circle sensing this might be where she finally fits in.

Fearing he might lose Addison to the werewolf pack, Zed sabotages Addison’s effort to find out if she really belongs amongst them. When his deception is revealed and Addison confronts the truth about her identity, zombies, cheerleaders and werewolves all discover the real meaning of community and acceptance.

Nine new original songs will be featured in the new movie, with the first, “We Got This”, dropping on January 3rd.

Kylee Russell, Carla Jeffery, James Godfrey and Kingston Foster all return for the much anticipated sequel, with Chandler Kinney as Willa, Pearce Joza as Wyatt and Ariel Martin as Wynter joining the cast.

We are so excited about this new sneak peek into Zombies 2!

Stars Milo Manheim and Meg Donnelly are showing off a montage of clips from filming the upcoming sequel, which will be out in February 2020.

Zombies 2 will pick up at Seabrook High where, after a groundbreaking semester, Zed and Addison continue to steer both their school and community toward unity, but the arrival of a new group of outsiders—mysterious werewolves—threatens to shake up the newfound peace and causes a rift in Zed and Addison’s budding romance.

Meg Donnelly is dishing on the upcoming Zombies sequel!

While talking about what to expect in the musical, the 19-year-old actress and singer also revealed that there could very well be a third movie in the works.

“[Zombies 2] ends kind of open-ended, so fingers crossed. I would be so happy,” Meg told TigerBeat. “I would start filming tomorrow because I just want to be back with everybody. It feels like years since we wrapped [filming on Zombies 2]! We’re going to hangout a lot in LA, but it won’t be the same, because we don’t see each other everyday, but we’ll still see each other a lot, so it’s fine.”

As for the new movie coming out on Disney Channel, Meg revealed what we can expect in the sequel, including the addition of werewolves!

“There are werewolves! I’m really excited because the whole dynamic, just adding in another supernatural race, is so much fun,” she added. “[You can expect to see] a lot more dancing, a lot more musical numbers. And the music has enhanced so much… like songs that you would hear on the radio. [The first] Zombies was lighter and this one’s a lot deeper.”

After meeting many fans during a photo opp at the event, Meg headed for a performance on the Radio Disney stage and Carla spilled all the beans on when Zombies 2 is set to premiere!

“February 14th…I’m so excited!” Carla shared during an interview. “That’s why I cannot wait to like, help promote it even more, so getting everybody excited, ’cause I feel like they’re going to try to make it one of those, like, romantic kind of things.”

Carla also dished about the relationship between her character, Bree, and zombie Bonzo, in the new movie.

“That you’ll have to watch to see how close Bree and Bonzo actually get this time,” she teased. “All I’m gonna say is I’m gonna be trying, and he’s gonna be trying just as well. That’s why, seriously, everything that’s new in this. Oh my gosh, you guys are gonna love it.”

Milo Manheim kicked off his weekend while hanging with his mom Camryn!

The mother-son duo were spotted while attending a screening of The Peanut Butter Falcon on Friday night (August 3) at ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood, Calif.

Milo recently revealed that he and the cast had wrapped filming on Zombies 2 and now we have an idea of when we’ll see it!

A new promo just announced that the film will be premiering on the network in 2020.

“here we go,” Milo wrote on his Instagram.

Zombies 2 has officially wrapped filming!

Milo Manheim and Baby Ariel both took to Instagram on Sunday (July 14) to confirm that production was complete on the Disney Channel Original Movie.

Milo kept it simple with his message, which accompanied a fun, cast mirror selfie.

“I’ll love my zom-pom-were gang forever💚💗💜 that’s a wrap on zombies 2 baby!!,” he wrote.

Baby Ariel had more to say about the milestone.

“and. thats. a. wrap,” she wrote, along with a series of photos of her leaving her trailer for the last time. “i am so incredibly grateful for my zombies family. you each have the BIGGEST HEART and have made such a huge impact on my life. thankyou for being you. 🖤…and i am grateful for the opportunity to have created such a beautiful magical special thing with all of you. i love you. i feel like i’m on a cloud right now and none of this is real. ok i’m gonna go cry now #zombies2 !!!!!!!! GETTTTT REAAAADDYY AWWWOOOO 🐺❄️.”

Three of your fave stars just joined Zombies 2!

Chandler Kinney, Baby Ariel and Pearce Joza are set to star as a trio of werewolves in the upcoming sequel movie.

The flick, which starts filming next week in Toronto, begins after last year’s groundbreaking semester at Seabrook High, and a new group of outsiders – mysterious werewolves – threaten the newfound unity and cause a rift between Zed and Addison.

Meg Donnelly, Milo Manheim, Kylee Russell, Trevor Tordjman, Carla Jeffery, James Godfrey and Kingston Foster are all set to return.
