Malia Obama Checks Out Sundance After Landing Film Industry Internship

Malia Obama has always been super interested in movies so it makes sense she was just spotted at Sundance Film Festival!

The 18-year-old daughter of Barack Obama stepped out at the fest on Tuesday (January 24), just days after announcing her internship with famed film producer Harvey Weinstein!

Malia reportedly stopped by Yarrow Theater to attend an afternoon screening of Beach Rats, a film that follows a teenage boy in New York as he navigates questions of self-identity.

Meanwhile, Malia‘s parents, Barack and Michelle, have jetted to the Caribbean for a tropical vacation after spending some time in Palm Springs, Calif.
