OlderGotham's Crystal Reed Opens Up About Sofia Being Underestimated
Crystal Reed steps out in style for Fox’s 2018 TCA All-Star Party held at the Langham Hotel on Thursday night (January 4) in Pasadena, Calif.
The Gotham actress was joined by her co-star David Mazouz, who stars on the series as a young Bruce Wayne, aka Batman.
Speaking with CBR recently about her character, Sofia, Crystal admits that everyone did underestimate her character on the series.
“A lot of the reason they underestimated her was because she wanted them to,” Crystal says, revealing Sofia to be a manipulator.
“The best part about Sofia is that she will give people exactly what they want, and then try and figure out motivations afterwards.”
She adds that Sofia “wanted people to think she was not a threat. She specifically played them to believe her.”
Gotham will return later this winter on Fox.
