Ian Chen Would Film 'Shazam!' 100 More Times!
Ian Chen is about to be your fave new movie star!
The 12-year-old actor, who you recognize from ABC’s Fresh Off The Boat, stars as Eugene Choi in Shazam!, out in theaters on Friday, April 5th.
“Filming Shazam! was definitely one of the most fun experiences I’ve had on any set,” Ian told JJJ. “I would do it 100 more times if I could.”

- I have a younger sibling named Max (who played younger me on Fresh Off the Boat once!)
- Most child actors are homeschooled or go to an online school. Not me! I’m able to go to regular school and spend time with my friends.

- One of my favorite books (I can’t decide my absolute favorite) is “Ready Player One”.
- My dream is to become a pilot… or maybe an actor playing a pilot, who knows?
- I love traveling and have been to 20 different countries and states. Hoping to get to more!
- My parents are both Taiwanese, and 8 is a lucky number in Taiwan and Asia!
- I have a “sophisticated palate” in food (like what they say in MasterChef Jr, haha)
