Nina Dobrev Urges Fans to Fight the Sale of Shark Fins

Nina Dobrev is using her voice to speak out against the sale and trade of shark fins.

The 30-year-old actress took to her Instagram Stories to ask her fans to support the cause.

“Can you beautiful people do me a favor?” Nina wrote. She shared a screencap of an Oceana graphic that said, “Shark fining is illegal in the U.S. but the trade and sale is not. Tell Congress to pass a #FinBanNow.”

“I need you guys to help. Make the TRADE illegal too. The Shark Fin Sales Elimination Act (HR 737) is going to get a vote in the U.S House of Representatives as early as tomorrow (Nov. 19)! Please ask your members of Congress to VOTE YES!!!” she wrote.
