Lana Condor Is 'So Excited' For Upcoming New Movie 'Moonshot'

Lana Condor has a new movie role!

The 23-year-old will be starring in the film Moonshot for HBO Max, from producer Greg Berlanti.

“I am SO EXCITED for this project!!! I’ve always had a huge fascination w/ space and space travel and I absolutely cannot wait for this adventure! Thank you @hollywoodreporter and everyone at @hbomax , @gberlanti and TEAM ❤️ 🌙🪐🌘🚀,” she excitedly shared on Instagram.

Moonshot is “set in a future where Mars is terraformed and colonized by the best humanity has to offer. Two very different college students wind up joining forces and sneak onboard a space shuttle to the red planet in order to be united with their significant others,” THR reports.

Lana will play Sophie, a focused and buttoned-up college student. “She is a woman with a plan — or at least, she was before her boyfriend Calvin moved to Mars, and she decided to go after him.”
