Selena Gomez Boards Upcoming Thriller 'Dollhouse' As Producer, To Possibly Star

Selena Gomez has joined the new movie Dollhouse as a producer.

The 28-year-old actress will produce under her July Moon Productions, along with 21 Laps’ Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen.

“Selena‘s involvement is an exciting direction for this project. She is supremely talented as both a star and a producer,” Adam Fogelson, chairman of STXfilms Motion Picture Group, said in a statement. “Teaming Selena with Shawn and Dan’s expertise in the horror-thriller genre will elevate Dollhouse and we couldn’t be more thrilled by the way this is being developed.”

The new film is a psychological thriller set in the world of the upper echelon of New York City’s fashion scene, and is being touted as in the spirit of Black Swan, with a screenplay by Michael Paisley.

Selena has joined the movie as a producer, but she could also star in it as well!

She has previously produced the recent romantic comedy Broken Hearts Gallery, and was added as an executive producer, as well as reprising her voice role, for the upcoming Hotel Transylvania 4.
