Aly & AJ Tease New Explicit Version of 'Potential Breakup Song'!

Aly & AJ are ending 2020 with a bang!

The sister music duo posted a teaser of an updated version of their hit song “Potential Breakup Song.”

The song is one of the girls’ biggest hits, and they’re updating it with new, explicit lyrics.

“12.29.20,” they simply captioned the snippet.

“Ending 2020 on a high note,” they added in the comments.

“Potential Breakup Song” was originally released in 2007 when Aly & AJ dropped their third album Insomniatic, when they were signed to Disney’s Hollywood Records.

Just last week, Aly & AJ dropped their latest single “Slow Dancing,” along with the music video, which also stars AJ‘s beau, Good Trouble star Josh Pence, and was directed by Aly‘s hubby Stephen Ringer.

The song is an “ode to longing for a moment of unwinding with a special someone and a glass of wine, the ethereal slow-burner feels all-too-familiar given the state of the world.”
