OlderHailee Steinfeld Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary of Her Breakout Movie 'True Grit'
Can you believe it’s been 10 years since Hailee Steinfeld exploded into stardom?!
The 24-year-old actress and singer starred in the movie True Grit, which came out 10 years ago, on December 22, 2010.
The film was Hailee‘s first movie role and it earned her numerous award nominations, including her first Oscar nomination, and some wins.
Now, 10 years later, Hailee is celebrating the anniversary with a post on Instagram.
“10 YEARS OF TRUE GRIT!!” she wrote. “oh man. not a day goes by where i don’t feel unbelievably grateful for this experience and everything it’s led to. i remember walking into that audition like it was yesterday…thank god i had my shit together.”
Since the movie’s release, Hailee was catapulted into a movie star, which has led to her starring in many big movies, including the Transformers film Bumblebee, Pitch Perfect 2 and 3, and she now stars in TWO TV series, Dickinson and Hawkeye.
She also launched a music career, releasing two EPs and touring with Meghan Trainor and Charlie Puth.
