OlderCarly & Freddie Reveal Where Sam Is In 'iCarly' Reboot

The moment we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived – iCarly is back!!
The reboot series just premiered on Paramount+ and in the first episode, Carly (Miranda Cosgrove) and Freddie (Nathan Kress) talk about where Sam (Jennette McCurdy) is and what she’s up to.
While talking to Freddie about wanting to make things again, ie videos, Carly is bummed about having to do it alone, and he says that she doesn’t need a partner to do that, meaning a co-host. She then says, “Yeah, I don’t need a partner. I need Sam.”
Carly then reveals what Sam is up to…
“But she’s off following her bliss with that biker gang,” she says.
“The Obliteraters. I hope she’s okay,” Freddie adds.
“It’s Sam. I hope they’re okay,” Carly replies. “I just wish she was here so we could do ‘iCarly’ again.”
There was an open invitation for Jennette to appear in some capacity in the reboot, but as she has explained previously, she has quit acting.
