As we all know, Ravi and Peyton’s relationship on iZombie is…well, complicated.
With season four premiering tonight, Rahul Kohli and Aly Michalka both opened up about the duo’s future.
For now, Ravi and Peyton are just friends, and a romantic relationship might not be in the cards at all for them.
“[I think that Peyton needs a break from] all of this boy stuff,” Rahul confessed to Collider. “It’s great to have such a strong female character, and romance…It’s not really the focal point of this season.â€
Aly added, “I think there’s also a moment where Ravi really shows his commitment to Peyton and kind of takes one for the team, and that happens in the first few episodes. You’ll kind of see this shift in the relationship. But it’s definitely hopeful for the Ravi and Peyton fans out there.â€
But, speaking of Ravi, Rose McIveralso opened up about that big cliffhanger we were left with at the end of season 3 — does Ravi actually become a zombie? We did see him eat a brain in the trailer — at least that’s what it looked like.
“It’s a surprise,” she says. “…Ravi is as enthusiastic as ever to create a cure. It’s really worth watching how that unfolds. I think it would be a disservice to the show to tease too much because it really pans out in a way I think will surprise and intrigue people.”
AJ and Aly Michalka stepped out in style for Paul Andrew’s Fall 2018 Presentation!
The pop duo attended the event held during New York Fashion Week at Ramscale Studio on Friday (February 9) in New York City.
Aly wore a green sweatshirt and cream sweater, which she paired with a printed skirt and sparkly slip-on heels, while AJ rocked a printed top, rolled-up blue jeans with an orange belt, and metallic silver shoes that were similar to her sister’s.
“A window to the 80′s â¤ï¸ Thank you for having us Paul,” AJ captioned her Instagram photo of some of the shoes below.
Aly Michalka got her big start by starring on Disney Channel’s Phil of the Future over ten years ago.
While the show only lasted two seasons (which was ridiculous!), the show went on to become a fan fave and is still talked about a lot today.
Sitting down with Buzzfeed’s AMtoDM show, Aly opened up about holding all those memories close.
“I still remember it very much so,” she shared. “I think especially because it’s something from your youth so those memories seem strangely kind of like yesterday, but also like a lifetime ago.”
Aly adds, “It’s cool to see that people have something that they hold onto or something that they hold dear to their hearts that’s a part of their childhood.”
Aly and younger sis, AJ, also nixed a popular theory that all current and former Disney stars get a lifetime pass to the Disney Parks. Check it below:
Aly & AJ stopped by Build Series to chat all about their EP, Ten Years, in New York City on Thursday (February 8).
The two sisters and musicians opened up about finding their new sound and working with two new producers for the projects.
Aly and AJ also opened up about why they decided to keep their band name as Aly & AJ, after starting with that, and then going to 78Violet and back again.
“It was a conversation that probably took a couple months,” AJ shared. “We definitely dealt with some confusion, but when you’re growing as artists and you’re figuring things out, you can’t really judge that.”
She continues, “It’s all the same. You might change your name, your sound, you might change your look…it’s whatever you’re comfortable with and at the end of the day, we took some cues from the people we were working with.”
“We stuck with Aly & AJ because it is who we are and it’s where we started. It’s what people know, it’s the foundation of what we came out with.”
Aly and AJ Michalka are stunning sisters inside the AMO Ferragamo Launch Party on Tuesday night (February 6) in New York City.
The two musicians performed at the event hosted by the face of the new fragrance, Suki Waterhouse.
Aly also had the chance to reunite with former Phil of the Future co-star Raviv Ullman, who was at the party with longtime friend and actress Mitzi Akaha.
“Big [love] for these two ol pals and the great music they’re making,” Raviv shared on Instagram with a cute pic.
He adds, “They’ve grown way taller and cooler than I. At least we’re all equally pink.”
Before there was Wizards of Waverly Place, Todd J. Greenwald actually had another pilot in the works for Disney Channel.
It would’ve starred Aly and AJ Michalka and was called The Odd Cousins.
“That didn’t go forward for a billion reasons why pilots don’t go forward, but they wanted to keep me around,” he shared with IBT about the lost pilot we’ll never see.
What was it about? “It was about two cousins, one was a sunny, bright, cheery Southern California cheerleader, and then her emo Portland, northwestern grungy cousin got into trouble and was sent to live in sunny SoCal with her cousin. They both found a way to live together and it would’ve been one of those fish-out-of-water family shows.”
When the pilot wasn’t greenlit, but Disney wanted another go at it, this time with Vanessa Hudgens.
“When the Michalka sisters couldn’t be in it, Disney still wanted to do it,” Todd added, revealing it didn’t work out again — because of how big High School Musical had gotten.
Who else is wanting to see these lost pilots with us? We need footage!
