Amber Riley will be joining the cast of The Wiz Live! on NBC!

The 29-year-old Glee star will be taking on the role of Addaperle, the Good Witch of the North. Orange is the New Black‘s Uzo Aduba also joined the cast as Glinda.

“We look forward to showcasing the amazing musical talents of Amber, and we are eager to introduce Uzo’s remarkable singing voice for those who know her solely as an extraordinary dramatic actress,” Wiz executive producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron said in a statement to Essence, who broke the news.

The show will air on December 3!

Last night, Dancing With the Stars celebrated its 10th anniversary with a special that brought back some of our favorite past performers!

Some of the celebs hitting the stage were Amber Riley, Chelsea Kane, Meryl Davis, Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Amy Purdy — who all danced in past seasons of the show.

Amber showed off her moves and amazing voice with a group number to “Lady Marmalade” while Meryl and Maksim gave us chills with their reunion dance.

Chelsea Kane and Amber Riley heat up the dance floor for the Dancing With The Stars 10th Anniversary Special, which airs Tuesday, April 28th.

The two former competitors returned to the dance floor for Mark Ballas and Derek Hough’s “Bromance” performance along with Amy Purdy, Kristi Yamaguchi, a pregnant Katherine Jenkins, and Maria Menuonos.

After Derek was injured after camera blocking, Sasha Farber replaced him in the performance.

Amber will also perform “Lady Marmalade” with Patti LaBelle and Lil’ Kim to close out the night.

Chelsea Kane and Amber Riley return to the dance studio in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon (April 18).

The two former Dancing With The Stars competitors, along with Amy Purdy and Maria Menounos, will be returning to the show for the 10th Anniversary special this season.

“Guess who’s back in the ballroom? #TeamKaneNBall #DWTS #10thAnniversary,” Chelsea wrote on Instagram with a cute pic of her and former partner Mark Ballas.

Mark added, “10th anniversary is gonna be a trip down memory lane.. All kinds of fun stuff happening.. #teamkanenball #dwts @chelseakane.”

Chelsea and Mark placed 3rd during Season 12 (Hines Ward won with Kym Johnson) and Amber won the competition on Season 17 with Derek Hough.

Amy was the runner up with Derek on Season 18 and Maria, also partnered with Derek, came in 4th on Season 14.

Who all caught Amber Riley watching the show on Dancing With The Stars on Monday night (March 30)?

The 29-year-old actress and Season 17 winner brought her new friend John Silverman to the Los Angeles taping.

“Remember my kind friend that I met on the plane that took care of me when I was sick? I brought him to Dancing With the Stars with me today!!! #paybackcanbegoodtoo #grateful,” Amber captioned with a cute photo of the two at the show.

Just a few weeks prior, John was seated next to Amber and instead of ignoring her, helped her out when she became ill on the flight.

“I got really sick on the plane today. But God sat me right next to an angel. He pretty much held my hand and nursed me through the whole flight and even carried my bags to baggage claim. I felt so much better when we landed I had to take an ussie. He taught me a valuable lesson about always being kind to strangers because he had no clue ‘who I was’ and didn’t find out until later,” Amber wrote of her meeting with John on Instagram. “It didn’t matter. He could have just ignored me and pretended I wasn’t there but he didn’t, he cared and offered comfort and anti-nausea medicine lol thank you for being my hero John Silverman. I made a new friend! (Terrible pic of me but that smile was genuine, I’m thankful).”

The 28-year-old actress and singer was joined by her co-stars Mark Salling, Amber Riley, Darren Criss, Chris Colfer, Jane Lynch, Chord Overstreet, Dot Marie Jones, and Heather Morris.

Emma Roberts, Jenna Ushkowitz, and Sarah Hyland look lovely as they hit the red carpet at the Kindred: Foundation for Adoption Inaugural Fundraiser held at Riviera 31 on Tuesday night (March 3) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The three ladies were joined at the event by Hunter Parrish and his fiance Kathryn Wahl, Teen Wolf‘s Ian Bohen, Glee‘s Becca Tobin, Amber Riley and Alex Newell, Vampire Diaries‘ Kayla Ewell, Pretty Little Liars‘ Torrey DeVitto, and Alessandra Torresani.
