Selena Gomez was only trying to send some love to her friend Amy Schumer, but then people had to go misconstrue her comments.
The 27-year-old singer left a sweet comment on Amy‘s Instagram post about her process with IVF, but then she had to leave another comment to explain her intentions after people misinterpreted what she said.
“I’m a week into IVF and feeling really run down and emotional,†Amy said.
Selena commented on the post and said, “I’m praying for you and chris. I’m sorry!â€
“Let me clear that up. I said I’m sorry she’s feeling that way,†Selena quickly added. “My mom went through the same thing. It’s hard on women’s heart.”
Amy and her husband Chris Fischer welcomed their first child Gene in May 2019.

The “It Ain’t Me” crooner recently watched the comedy during a fun movie night with her gal pals, which she shared in an Instagram video on Friday (April 20).
“Yesterday @amyschumer sent me her new movie I Feel Pretty (its because I’m obsessed with her) this movie is so important to watch,” Selena captioned the clip. “I encourage all my ladies out there to go with your girls and watch!”
“We used to live in a time where we would say ‘I can’t wait to BE older’ to now being a generation that wants to LOOK like an adult without understanding the responsibility or who we truly are on the inside sometimes,” she adds. “I know I can relate for sure! Amy also reposted the video, captioning it, “The sweetest lil ðŸ¯.”

The pair – who had a blossoming friendship in 2015 and 2016 – have not been photographed recently, until now. On Sunday (July 9), Amy shared a pic of Jennifer and Jennifer‘s former Hunger Games co-star Woody Harrelson together.

Amy captioned the photo, “Sisters,” which is interesting because back in 2015, Amy and Jennifer revealed they wrote a screenplay together about two sisters. Perhaps production could be happening soon for the film!?

The 25-year-old Joy actress is nominated in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy category and she is up against Amy, who is nominated for Trainwreck.
“We’re going to try to figure out to wear the exact same thing,” Jennifer told E! News. “That’s my mission. I really want us to wear the same thing.”
“She’s going to have to wear Dior,” Jen, who is the face of the brand, added. “I’m just going to have to have Dior make two of whatever they’re making for me.”
This won’t be the first time that the ladies have dressed alike. Amy wore a red dress at the Elle Women in Hollywood Awards this past October that looked nearly identical to the red dress Jennifer wore at the Oscars in 2011.
