Dickinson fans are getting a new sneak peek at the upcoming second season!

The Hailee Steinfeld-starring series on Apple TV+ is returning in just a few days, on Friday, January 8th.

In season two, Emily Dickinson (Steinfeld) is pulled out of her private literary life and thrust into the public eye, while struggling with the sense that the pursuit of fame might be a dangerous game for her to play.

Just before the premiere, Apple TV+ shared the first five minutes of the show on Instagram.

“New year, new Emily. Enjoy the first 5 minutes of Dickinson Season 2 early, and watch the premiere January 8 on the @AppleTV app with an Apple TV+ subscription,” the series captioned the video.

Dickinson also stars Jane Krakowski, Anna Baryshnikov, Ella Hunt, Toby Huss and Adrian Blake Enscoe, as well as Wiz Khalifa, who will return as the character of Death. Joining the cast for season two includes Nick Kroll as Edgar Allan Poe, Timothy Simons as Frederick Law Olmsted, Ayo Edebiri as Hattie, Will Pullen as Nobody, Finn Jones as Sam Bowles and Pico Alexander as Ship.

Kristine Froseth, Keke Palmer and Eliza Scanlen arrive in style for the Through Her Lens: The Tribeca CHANEL Women’s Filmmaker Program Luncheon held at Locanda Verde on Monday afternoon (November 4) in New York City.

The three actresses were joined by Dickinson‘s Anna Baryshnikov, Kaitlyn Dever, Emma Nelson and many more for the event.

The luncheon marks the start of the fifth annual three-day workshop, which will discover and empower ten rising filmmakers with project support, master classes, one-on-one mentorship, peer-to-peer sessions, and will award funds for project development and production.

Hailee Steinfeld wears an all white outfit while leaving the Build Studios in New York City on Thursday (October 31).

The 23-year-old actress joined her co-stars Jane Krakowski, Ella Hunt, Adrian Enscoe, and Anna Baryshnikov, and showrunner Alena Smith to promote their new Apple+ series, Dickinson, on the show.

“They almost seem like modern-day tweets because they were short and small and on these scraps of paper… so it did seem so today and the mind of today,” Jane, who plays Hailee‘s mother on the series, shared about Emily Dickinson‘s famous poems that are featured in the show.

Dickinson is a half-hour comedy series that audaciously explores the constraints of society, gender and family from the perspective of rebellious young poet Emily Dickinson. Hailee Steinfeld hits the red carpet at a screening of her new show Dickinson held during the 2019 Tribeca TV Festival on Saturday (September 14) in New York City.

The 22-year-old actress and singer was joined by her co-stars Jane Krakowski, Ella Hunt, Adrian Escoe, Anna Baryshnikov, Samuel Farnsworth and Toby Huss, as well as creator Alena Smith.

While at a panel after the screening, Hailee was talking about the music for the series, and revealed she recorded a new song for the show!

“The music was something that definitely stood out to me for this project. It’s really exciting,” she said. “Announcement: I have a song in the show and it’s coming out on the 19th!”

“I am SO excited to share that my new song ‘Afterlife’ from @dickinson will be out this Thursday. 🖤,” Hailee added on Twitter.
