Premiere dates are here! Or should we say “date”?!
Disney Channel has revealed the premiere date for the upcoming Descendants: The Royal Wedding special, as well as the premiere of the new series Disney’s Magic Bake-Off, which are happening on the same night.
There is reportedly a romantic comedy spinoff series in the works at Netflix, according to Deadline.
The site says the series would follow Anna Cathcart‘s character Kitty on her quest to find true love, and Anna is on board to star.
TATBILB author Jenny Han is serving as creator, writer, and executive producer on the possible series. Siobhan Vivian is co-writing the pilot script with Jenny.
Awesomeness and ACE Entertainment, the production companies behind the movie franchise, are also on board.
The To All The Boys film series of course just ended in February, and this would be some big news for the franchise.
Kitty provided some great comedic moments in the movies, and we are crossing our fingers for this to happen!
The late Cameron Boyce‘s character Carlos’ absence will be acknowledged in the storyline and Cameron‘s memory will be honored in the telecast.
“Descendants introduced a fantasy world of stories and characters, anchored in Disney mythology. For the past six years, it captivated young viewers and grew to become among Disney Channel’s biggest entertainment franchises ever.,” Disney Channel president Gary Marsh said in a statement. “It had the benefit of immensely talented stars, who we now welcome back for this animated ‘Royal Wedding’ special that will bridge the audience to what we hope will be a new chapter of compelling Descendants stories and characters yet to come.”

Can you believe that the end of the To All The Boys franchise is already here?!
Lana Condor, Noah Centineo, and the other cast members weren’t able to celebrate at a red carpet premiere, so they held a virtual celebration for To All the Boys: Always and Forever on Friday (February 12).
Lana‘s parents and boyfriend Anthony De La Torre also posed for photos with her.
“TO ALL THE BOYS: ALWAYS AND FOREVER PREMIERE!!! I want to say so much… but all I’ll say is: I. Love. You. You know who you are, to each and every one of you, thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything. These movies are dedicated to you, because of you, and for you. Always and forever,” Lana wrote on Instagram.
FYI: Lana is wearing a Julien Macdonald x Gabriela Gonzalez dress. Noah is wearing a Kenzo outfit. Ross is wearing a Grayscale outfit.
